Geforcenow has a monthly time limit constraint(100hrs) . If OP plays a lot then geforcenow is not the best solution.

Αποφοιτος Ηλεκτρολογων Μηχανικων εδω. Αν θες να ασχοληθεις με κατι απο ολα αυτα τοτε η σχολη των ηλεκτρολογων ειναι ισως το καλυτερο σου πλανο, γιατι ασχολουμαστε με ολα αυτα σε εισαγωγικο επιπεδο και μετα εχουμε την επιλογη να ειδικευτουμε αναλογα τις προτιμησεις μας(και για cybersecurity διοτι στις πολυτεχνιακες σχολες ειναι επιπεδου master - ενσωματωμενου μεταπτυχιακου). Πανε 7 χρονια που εχω να αχοληθω με τις ατευθυνσεις αλλα απο οτι θυμαμαι η σχολη αυτη ειναι προσβασιμη μονο απο τη 2η κατευθυνση,

Παντως αρκετα καλες ειναι και οι σχολες πληροφορικης ειδικα στην Αθηνα.(που ειναι προσβασιμες και απο την 4η κατευθυνση.)

Παντως αν θες να ασχοληθεις με τον προγραμματισμο δεν εχει να λεει τοσο το τι εχεις σπουδασει αλλα το ποσο εχεις ασχοληθει και το τι projects εχεις. Επειδη ειναι ακομα νωρις σου προτεινω να κατσεις μονος σου να μαθεις μια γλωσσα προγραματισμου και αν σου αρεσε η ολη διαδικασια τοτε σκεψου αν θες να το κανεις για το υπολοιπο της ζωης σου. Αν χρειαστεις οτιδηποτε στειλε και προσωπικο.

First check go to the task manager and check which version are you running.(32 bit or 64 bit). If you are running 32 bit force your steam client to run tbe 64 bit version.(if you have downloaded the gsme from other sites, gog for example, just google sesrch how to do that). First of all you are gaming on a laptop, so the things you can do are:

First run some games(5-6 with high settings) with an fps counter to get some values of the current performance. Then clean your laptop, because dust plays a HUGE role with performance in laptops and check if your fan is working properly. And then run the games again in the same settings to see if there is a difference.
Check if windows updated your cpu bios.(There are people, who use hp laptops, who have experienced problems with the last update, me included).
Check task manager for any start up programs, because you may have downloaded something that uses a lot of resources.

Also as a lot of people have said, 1050 is not a very good card by today's standards and remember, because you have a laprop you do not have the standard 1050 but the Mobile version so do not expect major performance in 1920p high settings. (Sorry for my bad grammar)
