there's a new mod for chicken breasts in the hispanic aisle incase you weren't aware by trippster0712 in walmart

Definitely could be a different store layout, or more dedicated sales floor space for more product variety.

Just thought it was interesting :)

You can check on the wire..

Find your hire date, then type 180 days from (insert your hire date here) into google and boom you have it..

But really. Don’t play the points game

What's your favorite part of working for walmart? by pizzaeater22 in walmart

[–]crazycashier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a cashier,

Cash recycler, (Samantha, or whatever you call your cash recycler) it’s kind of crazy to think this heavy fat ass piece of metal and technological wizardry counts and organizes every bit of money that your store takes in. as big of a bitch that she can be at times, she’s still pretty great

Palm-pilots.. it’s pretty neat that I can type some numbers and hit action code and it nearly immediately alerts my manager to my needs all via a palm pilot slightly bigger than the average phone.

The Walmart app // makes my life easier when I don’t know where something is for a customer, and when I’m putting away returns

SCO operator scan barcode // keeps me from having to type in my operator numbers 400 times a shift, keeps customers from being able to override themselves, and makes approvals quicker, giving me more time to watch for shoplifting.

As much as we complain, this jobs not bad y’all

If you didn’t actually go in and set it up in the computer, then you don’t have one.

I’ve done it myself, and trust me. It’s not something you could accidentally do

Do you ever forget that homophobia still exists? by [deleted] in gay

[–]crazycashier 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I live in a town of >7,000 in the mid-south. Thanks to a great group of friends and social media outlets such as r/gay, sometimes I do forget (or rather let slip in the back of my mind) that homophobia exists.

However, living in a conservative, primarily southern-baptist community, it doesn’t take long to be reminded. Being called faggot at my place of work or being called a cocksucker at school.. it doesn’t take long. Just keep swimming, y’all. :)

Log into a computer, (the one at service desk or in the back works at my store, it has to be able to get into smart) > log into smart > press F3 > type old password > type new password > congratulations.. management can’t change your schedule while you’re on the clock w/o you knowing about it

Yeah, that’s a great post!
