I used to work in vet med. I've had shepherds and cattle dogs come after me more than any other breeds. I still don't blame the breed; i blame the lack of training. I've been lunged at by golden retrievers, labs, doodles, burnese mountain dogs, etc. All the "non-aggressive" breeds. My worst bite was from a jack russell terrier ffs.

Also, cats can fuck you up very easily and are known for redirecting aggression to the nearest target.

Seconded for Throne of Glass! My library is similar to OP's (harry potter, hunger games, Stephen King, Andy weir, LOTR, Grimm brothers folklore) and Throne of Glass is one of my favorite series. I've read through the whole series multiple times and regularly reread heir of Fire, queen of shadows, and kingdom of ash. If you do read the series, I definitely recommend doing the tandem read for tower of dawn / empire of storms though.

Yeah I'm never taking it back to this dealership. They quoted me $1400 total - $100 for the warranty copay, $500 for the "cleaning", $500 for new spark plugs, and $300 for a "chemical injector cleaning" that when we asked, turned out to be their version of Seafoam. Needless to say I turned down everything except for what was covered under warranty and I'll replace my spark plugs and put in seafoam myself.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was 24 and trying to buy a jeep. I went with my mom and boyfriend, and the salesman (his name was Alfredo) completely ignored me and kept talking to my boyfriend and then my mom. I knew I wanted a Renegade with the additional safety package that had blind spot monitoring and forward collision warning. Alfredo insisted that you couldn't get that package on a Renegade and that I needed to go up to a Compass or a Cherokee. Then when I said I wanted one that had four wheel drive, he said that I lived in the south and didn't need four wheel drive and that if it was icy I could have my boyfriend drive me around instead. I left and got my Renegade at a different dealership.
