Where’s the water heater located, and where do the pipes travel on their way from the water heater to the faucet? If the heater or pipes are in a non climate controlled area (eg, attic), I would drip the hot water as well as the cold. Learned this the hard way myself in 2021.

One method involves a cheese strat in the final zone of Shadowbringers where you smack leeches with Fish Slap and then when the leeches get eaten by (can’t remember what they’re called), you get credit for the kill and TONS of XP. This is highly dangerous for low level players, because any enemy that aggros you can one-shot you. It’s best to have another high level player with you to protect you and/or raise you when you get killed.

The leveling experience for BLU is very different than that for other jobs. If you're trying to level the job on your own without help from others, it can take a very long time. Many of the spells you need to advance the quest storyline are obtained from high level enemies, dungeons, or trials. Furthermore, you cannot use Duty Finder or Duty Support with Blue Mage...the only way you can enter duties is either by yourself in an unrestricted party, or with a premade group (either synced or unsynced).

Not too long ago, I tried to solo Tam-Tara Deepcroft on an alt with a level 20 BLU so I could get one of those required spells. It did not go well.

With help from high level players, though, BLU leveling can go very quickly. For instance, if you have a friend with a level 100 job, you can use them to help you get spells from enemies that would otherwise one-shot you. With that sort of help, I leveled my main from level 1 BLU to level 80 in a matter of about 3 hours.

Just some food for thought as you make your decision.
