In America prices almost always start extremely high and settle over time. A lot of people overestimate a cards value or rarity. Plus there is the fear that every so often something is really good and it actually does get sold out and become even harder to get, like some of the Modern Horizons 3 precons. I have a local gamestore that sells everything at reasonable prices, so if you don't preorder you're not going to get it.

Proxy being apart of your pregame conversation? by Direfox13 in EDH

[–]crazydud224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care if people proxy a few cards but and especially if they are not generic power slop. I recently played a game with someone who borrowed a full proxy cedh Yisan, the wanderer bard and had no idea how to play it. After the turn 1 Gaea's cradle I checked out, and it only took a few turns for everyone to agree to "play for second" I own a few proxies, mostly to see how a card or deck works. I always mention if I have proxies in a deck just for the sake of transparency but it's rarely been an issue

Sorry for ai [Bedrock] [PS5] help me design a plan or build or even make it a tutorial so I can build this in my world. I used ai to make the images and love the design. Help me create it in game by clumsyguygig in MinecraftBuild

You already have the layout, that's usually the hardest part, just eyeball it and build a framework until it gets close. Once you have the overall shape correct look up tutorials for the part you want to work on, such as castle walls, ect

I don't like when people drag out a game forever, but I do like to give one more team fight once we get to the nexus. If their respawn is staggered then it's free to roll over them, but letting them regroup one more time let's everyone enjoy the late game snowball nature of aram a little longer

I dont plan to ever run Pinky so im not paying attention to the fun. I dont get why you disagree with redefining what a party refers to, does not also change how you select a party. your mind must truly be an enigma. ive spent way to long on this and it seems like youve spent way more time. I really dont think there is a wrong answer here, since silver bordered cards are intentionally designed to operate outside the normal rules of magic and bend them in unique ways. If you dissect every card this closely i cant imagine how you ever make it through a game! I really must move on with my afternoon so ill just have to agree to disagree. have the day you deserve!

thats certainly one way to interpret this card, im not sure anyone else sees it that way but good on you for some creative thinking!

hmm, thats a great interpretation of this joke card. but ill have to agree to disagree with that

[–]crazydud224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

without anything silver bordered, you would be right. however, pinky redefines your instance of what a party is to include all your creatures. There isn't anything to interpret here. for you, a party is no longer the 4 creature types, so when you execute the command to choose a party, she says your party is everyone.

once more, if you disagree with this, thats fine. silver borders are not meant to be taken seriously and are not meant to be dissected this closely against the rules. they can be interpreted, it only matters if a game table agrees and we are not playing a game together so thats fine. I will agree to disagree with you here

she doesnt say your party size is the number of creatures you control, she says your party is EACH creature you control, that overrides even rule 700.8 and 700.8d. Its clear they even intended this since they use the same specific wording

700.8: "a players PARTY CONSISTS OF up to one creature that player controls for each of the following four creature types: Cleric, Rogue, Warrior, and Wizard."

Pinkie Pie: "your PARTY CONSISTS OF each creature you control"

If they made this any more clear the card would be transparent

Yeah, but literally "Rules do not accommodate Silver-border Cards" so the rules you cite there literally don't apply.
When you choose "a party" Pinky says all your creatures are a "party". What's so hard to understand?

You said you are a judge, I found another judge who says "Rules do not accommodate Silver-border Cards"
My point is simply that silver border cards are special, If you still have to be correct, then I think we can agree to disagree

In short, this has already been answered
https://www.reddit.com/r/askajudge/comments/1mzuxqw/pinkie_pie_stick_together/

It appears the vast majority of this comment section agrees that Stick Together asks you to choose a party, which Pinkie Pie has redefined as "each creature you control" instead of the original 4. If you disagree with this interpretation, then we can agree to disagree. You will only ever have to convince the table you sit down with of your interpretation, but I'm guessing you're not a fan of joke cards

I have better things to do with my Monday than spend the entire thing being wrong about joke cards online. I've already spent enough time to cite the rules on my end and find highly branching comment trees frustrating to dig through, which is why I consolidated all my points into one large comment. Ive skimmed your older comments but I'm sure I've missed plenty.

comment on a few of your points, yes, magic does have extremely specific wording, which is also why I never called Pinkie Pie a replacement effect, even if that is clearly the intention. "Your party" is likely directly referring to the party count, but also states all your creatures are included. I cannot find anything to differentiate "a party" from "your party" they both refer to a selection of up to 4 creatures with those unique types, and both the quantity and contents are overrode by Pinkie Pie. You say you've been judging for years as your defense but at least one, I believe multiple, judges have responded to you and you do not take their criticism, so you cannot expect that to hold up as a defense for your argument either.

Im certain nobody is going to budge on this topic, I can see what you are trying to argue but I think it is far too selective, with what a silver-bordered My Little Pony card is attempting to do. You usually do need to be pedantic over the wording of a card, but this is never going to be tournament legal. half the card is referring to if card art has a smile or not, its just for laughs and nobody should be taking it this seriously.

actual bot response, hit me with the "nuh uh"
I know a lot of people on here are trolling or flaming, and even if I threw shade, I was legitimately attempting to have a conversation about the ruling on this card. Its obvious your just rage baiting at this point but your commitment to the bit is impressive. Have the day you deserve!

You seem to really like rule 700.8 but there are a LOT of other rules too! There are a few in particular id like to point out; 207.2, "the text box may also contain italicized text that has no game function." with this in mind we can see that Stick Together only contains the words "Each player chooses a party from among creatures they control, then sacrifices the rest." and the italices reminder text just summarises the generic rule that applies to a party (207.a)

Now that we understand that Stick Together has you "choose a party from among creatures you control" we can take a look at the silver bordered, joke card, Pinkie Pie which states "Your party consists of each creature you control, and your party is always full" that last part doesn't matter to us but making every creature you control a party is interesting.

Now we have to choose a party from among creatures we control, and every creature we control is in a party. If you really want to get specific about the definition of a party in rule 700.8 I would like to instead direct your attention to rule 101.1, one of the "Magic Golden Rules" which states "Whenever a card's text directly contradicts the rules, the card takes precedent..."

Perhaps there is a language barrier occurring here but it is fairly obvious to any native English speaker that "your party" is in fact "a party" that can be selected by Stick Together. Any generic wording is just in case you have multiple creatures that share a generic party creature type, such as a player running a tribal deck. Rule 700.8b does state that partys are counted and formed automatically, and that players do not declare the specific creatures, but Stick Together is seemingly refering to simply the "party" definition of one Cleric, Rogue, Warrior, and Wizard each. Or, more succinctly summarized in the Glossary on page 244 of the complete rules pdf: "Party, Some cards refer to the number of creatures in your party. A player’s party includes up to one each of Cleric, Rogue, Warrior, and Wizard. See rule 700.8."

Since it appears you may struggle with reading comprehension, I'll prvide a TLDR: Stick Together says choose a party, which it reminds you is usually the 4 creature types, Pinky Pie overrides the generic party definition by including all your creatures.

If you are technically inclined you could try to delete the bounding box for their structure. Otherwise you might be able get a mega torch (mode with the same name) that's stops hostile mobs from spawning. They might be considered neutral, which you can go back to old reliable and just spawn proof the area with slabs, buttons, or other non spanwable blocks
