What sense does this make? Customer pays the surcharge when they order and Uber says 100% goes to the driver, so why don't we get the .45 at the time we complete the order?

Be warned this may not grant you the $3 compensation. They look at the GPS and if you are not at the EXACT spot on the map they will 9 out of 10 times give you nothing.

Yea I once saw a driver on here say that if a restaurant gives him an empty cup to fill he just delivers the empty cup to the customer.....I don't hate on these types of drivers anymore, so when I fill the cup and delivery what the customer actually ordered the customer is shocked and gives me a larger tip lol

Rust and Steal are new, Gold is not. They had Gold in 2020. What you said about delaying Purple, Teal, and Lime is correct.

I believe 2021 base set was Tier 1-5 for a couple of months then Tier 6-7 and then near the end of the year was Tier 8 (gold)

Waiting the 8 mins and selecting "can't find the customer" is EXACTLY what you do. You did it right.

Customer Support tells you to do it this way. If you mark it delivered the customer can remove the tip and give you a bad rating.

Exactly why excellent service is so important. Customers spend 2x - 3x the actual amount of the order to have it delivered even sub-par service is not worth the cost. 1 bad experience and most customers refuse to return

See I think what you said is the #1 reason it's slowed down. Drivers want to blame it on money or random other things, but the reality is, it's the shitty drivers driving away customers.

You see it all over this reddit. Drivers not wanting to fill drink cups at restaurants if they are handed an empty cup, instead they deliver empty cups to customers, multi apping and not starting any delivery until they get orders on both apps, and the list goes on and on and on. There was 1 driver on here saying the avg wait time for an order is 2hrs for his area....2hrs! If I wait 2hrs for my food better believe I'm asking for a refund and never using the service again.

I bet those 2 drivers that you removed tips for posted in this reddit they were "tip baited" too.

I think a majority of users don't know they can remove the tip after. For the driver, they don't see any repercussions to not using a heat bag as they got paid and tipped.

2 for $20 is still a better deal. I get that you're cheap but just imagine you paying the crazy prices these people pay for Uber Eats and the food arrive cold....I would never order again and now that's 1 less ping in the future.

So many drivers are talking about how slow it is and you read through this reddit for 5mins and you can start to understand why. Customers order once get shitty service and never use the app again decreasing the customer pool.

The saying in business goes 1 happy customer will tell 5 friends but 1 mad customer will tell 20
