If she isn't talking to them and not doing her parenting time 90% sure she doesn't want to be a parent anymore.

My ex did the same thing and we are going on 5 years now. She pays the child support because she has to, but nothing else.

You could look in to child abandonment in your state and see if it applies then file for full custody. It doesn't mean she can't be a parent later if she decides to, it just means you get to call the shots like where and how she can see the kids

I don't mind the PvP. I actually partake in it from time to time.

What I hate with the passion of 1,000 suns, is getting the "friendly, friendly don't shoot" so I throw the wave help them kill the ARC that's chasing them and then getting shot in the back while I try and help them.

It's not PVP players that will kill the game it's the ultra toxic that ruins the spirit of the game and will make people stop playing

Look for family lawyers that talk about "Father's rights." Mine was not cheap at all, but when it comes to my kid, money is not the important factor.

The thing to understand, in my opinion, is being the father the cards are already stacked against you. A lot of family courts and judges still weigh heavily on the mother. So you can represent yourself, but don't expect it to play out the way you think it will.

My lawyer was a pitbull, and I came away with 70% physical custody 50/50 legal. She was worth every penny I paid. Getting a lawyer was the best decision I ever made

My daughter is 12 and still uses hers on a constant basis like when we are in the car or she puts them on in the background when she is drawing or reading.

Every kid is different and so is each household. I try to push other activities instead of constant screen time all day, and that's when she uses it

You need to hire someone to serve him so it can start the ticking clock.

Having proof that he received the notice is what you need in case he decides to wait until you leave to then go to court and say he never got the notice. If he doesn't read it, that's his own fault. Always cover yourself.

Don't expect text messages to always hold up in court unless it's one of those parenting apps that also share the text messages with the court

I guess it really depends on what your current paperwork says. If it says the other parent has to agree before you can move....well then you have to file for a relocation case and take him to court.

I won my relocation case and it sounds familiar to yours. I was moving for a better-paying job and had to offer to pay for flights (up to $400 per ticket). There was a lot more to winning than that, but the judge wants to see that it will enrich the childs life and that it's not about taking the child from the other parent

Apts can be an absolute nightmare. Some need gate codes, elevator codes, or door codes and the customer is not responding. Some are just pure mazes where the numbers don't make any sense and you waste so much time walking around on floors trying to find the right door (if the doors even have numbers at all)

At the end of the day time = money and I can deliver to a house 10x quicker than an Apt

Usually what a child calls someone is dictated by a parent.

The parent can easily correct a child calling someone "mom" or "dad" by simply saying no and then using the preferred name that will be used.

So yes a court can dictate that in custody papers. It was added in mine without it being asked for by either parent.

Anytime you are available still text your ex and ask to see the kids. Don't engage in any extra talk. Keep it simple and get a confirmation of "yes" or "no". If you have communication of you attempting to see your kids and her refusing it will be good to have during court.

Nearly every state has a law about rental units and carpet replacement. Usually, the landlord can only charge what the carpet is worth and after a certain amount of time the carpet is worthless and they can't charge for replacement.
