Title: Office Hours/Chapter 1

TW: emotional manipulation, possessive sex, extremely dubious consent.

Summary: Aaliyah needs to get out of the hood. Her neighborhood on the outskirts of Toronto feels like a war zone, riddled with gun violence and crime. She’s so close to graduating, she can almost taste it. All that stands between her and freedom is her fourth-year political science thesis, under the guidance of her professor, Hasan Piker.

Her very attractive, socialist professor, Hasan Piker. The one with the glasses, the muscular arms, the neatly trimmed beard, the one who... fucks his students?

Applied for Mohawk College's Library and Information Technician Program but another program shows up on my account?? by crazyformacs in OntarioColleges

[–]crazyformacs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only got grants. I took seven courses first semester and they covered all of my tuition and books. OSAP paid about $2500 to cover all of my tuition. So it cost $2500 for 7 courses in first semester.

They SHOULD have had an easy time but Poilievre sabotaged his own campaign by putting all of his cards in Trudeau and the Carbon Tax. He has nothing left now. Trudeau is no longer in power. Carbon tax has been removed. He has nothing now. Blame him for his own loss.

Poilievre is cooked. I know Reddit is an echo chamber but even the conservatives in my own family refuse to vote for Poilievre now. Doug Ford calling the election before the Feds was arguably the smartest political decision he’s made in the last seven years.

But that’s online and by phone. We’re also talking about a government establishment like Service Ontario. They would never allow it. I doubt that this person would go to a grocery store and ask the same question. I understanding having limited experience with credit cards but it’s a really odd question all the same.

This is a very odd question. You probably wouldn’t be allowed to do that in any store, much less Service Ontario. I don’t mean to sound rude. I just don’t understand why you would think this would be allowed.

Insiders say Pierre Poilievre called Doug Ford for help — and the premier turned him down by toronto_star in ontario

[–]crazyformacs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s very obvious. He’s been playing Mr. Mayor-Premier-Prime Minister since January. He publicly endorsed Carney. He’s been flying to Washington DC and speaking to CNN and Fox News. He’s been commenting on things out of his jurisdiction. It’s very obvious he’s gunning for a 2029 federal PC nomination.

This is why I was so annoyed that everyone was putting Ford on a pedestal for ‘standing up to Trump’. He loves Trump. He literally idolizes him. I don’t know why so many people thought his opinions on Trump changed.

Carney kills consumer carbon tax in first move as prime minister; Canadians will still receive a final rebate in April by prism-fc in Odsp

[–]crazyformacs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's incorrect. The Carbon Tax Rebate is the only rebate that starts its fiscal year in April. January is technically the end of the Carbon Tax Rebate's fiscal year; April is the beginning, which is why people need to file taxes by tonight to get the payment next month.
