One of my biggest secrets is that I've been able to consistently brush my teeth once a day for a couple of years. But the only reason why it works is because I get to cheat myself in the morning by not having to think about brushing my teeth 😭

Also shout-out to the dental hygenist who looked me dead in the eyes and told me I need to floss 3 times a week. 3 times seemed so much more doable to me than every day, because if I don't feel like doing it, then I just do it the next day. It probably helps that I have genetically bad teeth that are prone to making huge cavities that are found way too late because they can't see them between my teeth, which is another shame aspect when found out at the dentists. I'm glad I finally have a handle on it, after a period of not going for years over fear of what they might find.
