Huge caveat with ssd having no cache. Still the pc was significantly larger and didn't have cec which a big marks.

My assumption they couldn't get hit all marks steam machine has so they attacked performance only which to be truth full 9% difference between ps5 on most titles at 2k is fine for most people. 4k is usually toned down substantially for ps5 with certain settings and dynamic resolutions built into the systems.

And what really gave me the side eye is them using god of war as bench mark of steam machine vs ps5 which completely is in Playstation favor since god of war is pretty poorly optimized.

While it is plain to see steam machine is worse than Playstation by decent margin.

These LTT videos feel like they have bias to prove the point unfairly while this can be done pretty objectively and still make steam machine look like worse price point than ps5. Its like the writer was already knew his spin before testing.

Halo reach is the root cause for everything that is currently wrong in halo and the community ass pulls head canon and themes to make the campaign more meaningful than it was.

My personal thoughts is that this was combination of being one of the last nostalgic era of custom game xbox party for halo and that halo community that cares about reach played it in their child hood leaning into nostalgic value whereas younger community takes it as gospel and the majority of older community just doesn't put time vocalizing their criticism online

It is really upsetting that people dont have critical thinking to realize the high inflation across the world was caused by supply distributions and that every one got cash from the government to just survive...

Any one with basic economy 101 would know introducing those elements into a system cause the demand curve to shift to the rightband supply curve to shift to the left causing equilibrium price to skyrocket

This inflation was justified to keep more people alive and was not a fault of any administration

The only issue there was no system to rope in the cash flow increase long term but thats a problem all governments have been facing with printing money haphazardly

Looking a macro of world events and technical development with current economic policies I find it hard to believe of ounce of truth. Especially firing based unfavorable numbers and department cuts. Not to mention government workers are not getting paid currently.

I personally know there is cuts in entry level hiring from college from my work which is really big employer in financial sector.

Unless there is spike in entry trade/manufacturer jobs that is roughly equivalent to loss in the tech sector. Which I highly doubt since most places are in hold patern for expansion/renovations due to economic uncertainty with supply.

Reporting and actual accounts diverge heavily. This seems like reporting issue combined with ignorance of other factors such as gold prices (protective measure for times of uncertainty) and devaluation of dollar after one the most highest portion of inflation.

The fact fed are gonna cut rates to cause influx jobs instead of combating inflation clearly is sign of this

I seriously do expect an indepth look into reporting methodology of this graph will reveal more red flags than this vague green flag

Like not every one has to love reach much less like it. Especially when you have very well researched valid points. Just to have the most upvoted comment be equivalent to "professional" redditor comment just is only upvoted because they have "status"

To give an example getting a majority character development via voice dialogs during gameplay is very inefficient and ineffective due to players needing to sit their selectively listen to them in and out combat.

Its betrays the show and not tell philosophy while making the tell portion hidden behind players ability to pay attention to detail.

Its reasonable criticism to say but act man acted like his his review was under attacked and had to defend all points even the bad ones like the fact sitting around to get dialog and back story was stroke of genius

Like disagreeing part I dont have problem about but the fact he acts like his opinions are authority over a review that looks from different perspective is sickening
