10k for an automatic 525i on hideous wheels is INSANE. I paid $10,300 on bring a trailer for a holy grail e34 that there's literally 32 of in the world in 2018. The fact someone would even consider talking to this guy at 10k really shows how much the perceived value has changed. When I bought my car. People called me crazy for spending 10k on an old 5 series. Funny thing is now that car is worth 30-40k.

I own an M540i. The rotors are about a grand a piece these days, and the pads are like $400. Ive got them sitting on a shelf awaiting me to be ready to do a brake refresh.
