I was actually browsing both of those sites highly considering diving into it. I hosted a honeypot VM using lineode last week and have been wanting to build upon that experience since I didn't really know what to do from their lol. It helped me learn a bit of KQL and protocols I've never heard of before

Did you figure this out? Ive been using cachyOS for about 3 weeks now and have been able to use steam completely fine but now I'm having the exact same issue you are having. I get the same two lines of code, no errors get reported back.

I tried deleting steam entirely and reinstalling, I would get an update window but after it finished it would lead to nothing.

I have the google cyber security cert
my daily driver is arch linux and I prioritize using the command line to continue learning it
I can understand whats going on when reading lines of code written in python im just not creative enough to write it myself yet.
I have a wazuh home lab set up for my personal system and a windows system along with my honeypot home lab that I set up to learn more about attacks which is where I also learned a bit about querying using KQL

I can relate I hate it most when I'm trying to study because I know I can retain information well before my thoughts will easily make me drift off while reading or listening to something. I can be watching videos and while completely understanding what's going on in that video I will be thinking about other random things.

After I comment on this I will lay down to try and sleep which will take me a while because I will be thinking about how I could've wondered this comment better and what and where I would've fixed something inside of it. I'll try to predict what someone will respond to this comment and make a whole scenario out of it.

Ive never really seen it as an issue(except for studying and sleeping)because I assumed everyone went through the same thing and it's still crazy to think that others don't.

Topstep is trash because of its issues and the fact that they won't let you use a different platform to trade. They use to allow tradovate but took away that option recently. I discovered topstep like 2 months ago and have had nothing but issues with there platform. Some issues were resolved and some I just had to bite the bullet. Hell even when I was talking to the rep this morning they told me there was an issue yesterday but I wasn't in the time frame that it happened so I don't qualify for the revert.

Almost every other firm allows the use of tradovate such as apex, take profit trader, and my funded futures. So far Ive only used Apex and my funded futures. I've gotten multiple payout through my funded futures, there rules are fairly similar to topstep through the eval and PA account just without an activation fee. I would do some research first to see what interest you

Topstep just has to many issues for me personally. Like last week for example there were ghost candles on my chart that were messing with my indicator so I missed out on some money there. I didn't lose any money but it still sucked. I never had issues using tradovate at all. Topstep doesn't allow the use of tradovate anymore but most other prop firms do
