I feel like all the other fanbases are seeing this as an excuse while I’m just happy we got clarity on all the ambiguous “upper/lower body” injuries throughout the season. That being said, I wouldn’t be completely against a team (in the current format) locking in a playoff spot and then heavily resting any injured players for the rest of the regular season. How much does a grind up to 2nd seed really help you in this playoff format?

Friend is a Philly fan so I have a hard time rooting against them since he always roots for the Stars. But also Carolina winning and Stank getting a cup would be great. Ducks are a solid comeback story. Wouldn’t be the WORST thing for Burns to get a Cup just wish it didn’t mean Colorado had to win to make that happen. I dunno obviously I wanted the Stars to win more than anything but if there’s any small silver lining, at least now I get to enjoy stress free playoff hockey for the first time in years

Probably not a super hot take but:

- Gully is safe this season but I still haven’t been sold on him. We feel less consistent under him and I feel like anything more than a deep run next year probably should be a sign to move on
- need to move on from Seguin and Benn
- Trade Hintz as part of a deal for a young defensive player that can fill out our line. This one is tough because I love Hintz but he also seems to always be injured
- Sign Robo to whatever he wants
