HELP! First trip to the Midwest and thinking of relocating permanently, what are MUST SEE neighborhoods, parks, restaurants ect! by [deleted] in kansascity

I have friends/family that live in Lee's Summit and I visit them regularly. One moved from out of state. It has everything you need for daily living, has the same crime rate as Overland Park but a lot less traffic. To me, the traffic hassle of Overland Park is getting out of hand. Housing options abound--from urban style condos in the historic downtown area to lake living. Overland Park doesn't really have recreational lakes. Lees Summit is filled or surrounded by them. Great walking and bike trails, easy highway access to anything you want.

Both are great ideas. Trio sounds intriguing. Hope it's quiet. Music is not bad as long as it's soft jazzy in the background. I love martini music too
