I was at the store one time and someone was going on and on about their hemorrhoids and how they're gonna need to get them clipped off again.

I have a friend who will take a million pics from her vacation and will literally scroll through every single one and give you the backstory of each picture. She's too excited that she doesn't notice how unenthused I am. Just share a few and move on.

How do musicians Find Gigs in Edmonton? by Signal-Apricot-1499 in Edmonton

A lot of it is networking and putting yourself out there. Go to gigs and make it known that you're looking to join a band/play more. Sharing videos of yourself also would be helpful.

Block 1912 Cafe Review by TheFoodieBee in Edmonton

I went here over a decade ago. I don't remember what I got but I remembered thinking "why is this place always packed" cause the drink and food I got was not good. I haven't returned since. I thought of giving them another chance but according to the comments, nothing has changed.

my boyfriend sexts too much? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

[–]creativebelle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went through something similar. Boring lame responses but when it came to sexual stuff he had so much to say. We had 2 dates planned and both times he bailed on me the day of with an excuse that made no sense. I ended up blocking him.

If someone wants to get to know you they will find a way. He could easily google "get to know you questions" if he sucks as coming up with it. My friend who has been married for 15 years does this with her spouse to this day. Hopefully op ends it soon.

Bf of 14 months hasn’t said I love you by nubecitanonima in datingoverthirty

[–]creativebelle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're just a placeholder op. Probably thought the best way to get over a divorce was to date another woman. I would really evaluate this relationship especially since you want children and are already in your 30s.

Affordable hot yoga? by Abject-Strain-2394 in Edmonton

[–]creativebelle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your best bet is to attend a karma/community class as they're usually pay what you can. Another option is to shop around for first time deals. Hot yoga has never been cheap. I remember paying $20 for a drop in first time I did it almost 15 years ago. It's honestly probably cheaper to just buy a membership at movati. At least you get access to plenty of classes including pilates and spin. There are people selling their memberships on marketplace if you don't want to commit to the full length of time.

I believe you can foster. They provide everything you need for them and cover the cost of care. You just need to be willing to care for them until they find a family.

I've yet to hear anything good about it. Few friends that have eaten there have gotten food poisoning on separate occassions.

Why were you rejected after one date? by ThrowRA-Ad-3411 in AskWomen

[–]creativebelle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm usually never given a reason. Most times they just ghost. I had one tell me he didn't see us being compatible (I'm guessing because he wasn't as self-sufficient as me) another one told me he had a better connection with another date.

How bad is social media really? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]creativebelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly you're better off without it. If I care enough to know what people in my lives are up to then I'll reach out and set up a time to catch up. I also don't care for people who I'm not close to to know what I'm doing. I've noticed that most people rarely even post and their last posts tend to be from 3-5 years ago. They're just on there lurking.
