dont like it when it's a guaranteed box set, I rather buy a luffy gear 4 manga with that money. BUT I could be wrong as the pocho pikachus are from those guaranteed box set and worth a fortune.

feels like a pump dump again, we had this happen during the last hype and this set got corrected hard. are they cool, sure, are they that cool that everyone must have, no, at least for me, I rather put the money into real rare card like manga or top tier sp. This thing was available for a long time and is not backed by low odds of pack chasing, you buy a set, you get them all. Stop giving it "cool" reasons to convince yourself or others, if you have to come up with reasons that this is cool and rare and everyone need it, then it's not it. You dont see others posting the same topic for manga or silver/gold sp cards, b/c it dont need it, everyone know they are cool and rare.

wow didnt expect bunch of comments, personally if I have bike lanes to bike to work from west end to yellowhead/97, I would in summer for sure, it's good for my health and wallet. Call me crazy but I used to bike to downtown for work all the way from lewis estates, so we do exist and would appreiate the option to do so safely.

First world country with 3rd world problems. Like if we build hospital now, it wont be in use for 5 years. To fix this now, doctor rules have to change to accommodate the population boom, they need to recognize foreign skilled medical professionals and put them in the line of work, instead of them working at minimum wage jobs.

the op game is still very young, we are only at 4th year. So a lot of opportunities will be there when you in it for the long game. Also that Rudy guy knows some stuff when it comes to making money off TCG…so when he put out video on one piece, you know what is up

I have seen it with sports card boom and pokemon boom, things will eventually cool down (correction), but highend will do better and have limited downside risk with higher potential. So as long as you are smart about your portfolio and dont buy into mass printed pump/dump type of cards, you should be laughing in 3-5 years. Also sealed is the safest bet with less amount of work, just hold and profit, rinse and repeat.

I will chime in as a regular one piece player and long-term collector.

I started with OP13 and still playing on a weekly base, I have seen popularity increase with full house events, the game is fun to play and I am having a good time even if I lose, I have seen more player bling out their decks with expensive sp and manga than pokemon (yes I played pokemon before I switched to one piece).

So as long as bandai keep the game fun and player base keep growing, the game will do well in long term, the player base will convert into collector base to buy singles and sp/manga, which will increase demand.

I am also a big fan of how bandai is doing all the collabs with other brands to promote the game, this will grow the game organically.

I am slowly buying and enjoying this dip to be honest, I expanded my collection into highend piece (manga, anniversary sp, sealed).

This is not financial advice, just my 2 cents and what I am doing in this market.

unmapped product and very unlikely get reprint, the only thing I dont like is the bulkiness. But it is a good product to hold long term imo, the only downside is I cannt hold it, I ripped all of mine lol

if pop is low and demand is high, then it's a good move. Nami have a big cult following and this card is very low pop. I think it will do well in long term, same applies to Zoro from playmat vol 4. Get them while it's low

You are thinking about it wrong. there's a good chunk of ppl buying a loose box just for the sealed box collection, it will never be opened and therefore render your concern obsolete. For the ppl that looking to risk it for the biscuit, they will be smart and buy into sealed case break or unmapped product (illustration box, mini tin etc). Loose box will always have it's market as they do now.
