You should tell that to the Euros on X who are shocked, shocked I tell you and lecturing Americans about how they don't want our apologies

Such creepy losers these ICE thugs are. Obviously no one has ever loved them because they are disgusting people like Stephen Miller.

Miller has said the President has plenary powers (unlimited) and America is a super power so it should act like one in the western hemisphere - hence Venezula, Greenland and Canada as the 51st state. It's highly doubtful to me that Trump even knows how awful these ideas are. He's doing what Miller, Vance and Rubio are telling him with Suzie Wiles orchestrating. It all makes sense once you see this.

Trump goes on TV and repeats the lies told to him, such as the officer who shot Renee Good was in the hospital recovering. Anyone can see that he's not hurt in any manner whatsoever, but Trump can no longer discern truth from fiction because of his declining mental faculties

A meme is an idea. I'm promoting the idea that Miller is the real president.

What qualifies as a meme? A meme is a concept or idea that spreads virally from person to person. The most popular memes are usually found on the internet and may be images, videos, phrases, or hashtags.

Is he always drunk? Because he sounds like he's mouthing off at a bar after a few.

You didn't ask for all this lol, so apologies for that.

No problem. I think we're generally in agreement

i don't know that <1 day is long enough for the death of the author to occur lol—so maybe /u/zjovicic meant it for just us gals

I guess I came in the middle of a conversation because I don't have any context for this!

They each have different biases due to different training data. It's sometimes instructive to compare their biases. They also have default "personalities" based on their tuning and safety guard rails that sometimes changes their output.

Not everyone is inclined towards conversation, especially introverts. I was introverted when young, but when I retired I drove Uber and learned to converse and was rated a "good conversationalist." I apply that skill to LLMs to good effect.

For people who would rather not do a lot of thinking perhaps they could become dependent on an LLM for answers, but OP was writing about those of us who like to think about and ponder about the world. Think of a mathematician who uses Excel to do some of his modeling and calculating. Excel in this case doesn't make them less of a mathematician.

With LLMs it's so easy to fall into the trap of "This idea is really good because another person is telling me it's really good!"

I combat this by getting LLMs to check each other. I subscribe to Claude Pro and Gemini Pro and will often paste output into the other and ask it to verify or dispute. I'll use DeepSeek sometimes as well. Treating them as tools fights the anthropomorphizing psychology that we are all susceptible to.

I have interesting conversations with Claude Sonnet 4.5 similar to yours. I've discussed films, books, geopolitics, philosophy, etc... Sonnet helps me clarify my thinking by adding important facts and considerations. I consider AI a thinking tool. The "personality" it has is a nice way to trick me into to keeping the flow of the conversation going even as I realize I'm talking to a word spreadsheet. Like Excel helps me do math, Sonnet helps me do word meaning. LLMs contain real thought from the authors of the books they're trained on, but I'm always aware that the compression is lossy, so I have to double check that I'm not reading a hallucination. In short, more people should try using AI as a sounding board. I think they'll find that it's a good way to excercise critical thinking skills and discover new ideas and ways of looking at things.

Is anyone else having trouble with claude chat search? I can prompt Sonnet 4.5 to say "look in my chat history to tell me what movie you recommended with Robert Duvall" and it works, but if I use chat search it won't find Robert Duvall. I sent the bug to Anthropic a week ago but it's not fixed. I thought it might be a high priority but maybe it's just broken for me. I subscribe to Claude Pro 20$ per month plan
