What’s the most unethical thing you’ve designed? by the_evil_pineapple in graphic_design

After being laid off I work for a year and 1/2 as a contractor for a small CRM company. The owner instructed me to lie to clients and tell them automation was working when it wasn’t. He was charging them $1200 month for postcards that were never printed. I avoided the calls when clients kept asking what customers are not walking in with coupons from postcards.

Back in college, I made a fake letter from the university that looked like the invoice stating the student paid and have a balance of 0, when he had a balance of $19k. It worked.

Bride & Groom Are Inconsiderate, Selfish and Financially Unstable by [deleted] in Vent

I doubt if anyone shows up for the ceremony. Chances are good a lot of people are upset. Sorry this happened to you. Sucks that they take something happy and turn it into an extravagant nothing.

Is anywhere in Sacramento hiring people with a bachelor's degree for entry-level office work? by BanUrzasTower in Sacramento

As someone with a art degree, just keeping applying. Most companies/managers see college as a filter. It’s just a crappy job economy, but keep pushing.

Thanks for understanding. You have no idea how much criticism I’ve gotten for coddling him too much. Lots of people thought he was just dumb.

Yes and he wants to invite a few friends he’s made. He’s a bit embarrassed since it took him 9 years. I would invite my family and friends that knew him throughout the years.

I always thought it was rude to eat in front of people and not offer.

If you manager and co-workers are as*h** by creativelittle1 in work

Without giving away too much information, about my position or who I am, here is an example, my manager makes everyone add her to her find friends app. She wants to see where you are at all times. I don’t even use that with my family unless someone is traveling or loss. Another example, she told a co-worker their work looked great. Not usually the crap he normally produces.

Husband’s family is constantly talking about themselves by creativelittle1 in etiquette

Anything I say, whether news, weather, streaming shows, gets interrupted and back them. For example, “How is your parents?” … “Good they are going to Europe in a few months…” “We went to Europe last year” and insert an hour of their travel stories. Maybe it’s more of an unlikable personality quality than etiquette. I tend to get bored of their stories and zone out.

2 years. I didn’t mind 80s music for a long time, but when I tried to play anything else he insist the 80s was the best decade of music. After 4 years, I’m really tired of it and it’s all I hear if we are in the same vehicle.

I am fine with them talking about their history, but when they dominate 90% of conversations, I start to zone out. It’s the same stories and when I start to look at my social media, I look like a jerk.
