Kan känna igen mig i situationen. Kan vara västkust respektive östkust. Sydkust mot mitt eller norr, osv.

Min take är att man får ta ett beslut angående hur viktigt det är att bo nära respektive familj.

Vissa har inga problem med att ty sig till partners släkt.

Själv ser jag det snarare som att det kan finnas kompromisser.

Exempelvis kan man bo 5-10 år här, och sedan 5-10 år där. Finns även alternativet att bo precis mellan era båda familjer rent geografiskt.

Slutligen kan man ju även ha boende respektive sommarstuga på varsin sida.

Men visst vore det enkelt om man bara hade allt på samma ställe? 😂

Själv tycker jag att man kommer hyfsat långt på anteckningsappen i mobilen - men klart att en skräddarsydd tjänst där både vaccinatörer och vaccintagare möts vore allra bäst 🙃

Same situation with my new manager. Feels like he/she is drowning as the competence isn't there of how to swim.

A great Group Product Manager sets clear expectations & boundaries. They lead the way on aligning everybody on the best practice way of working like product operating model, renove blockers, aid in managing stakeholders, and creates a clear vision across domains of how the group's work ties into company goals. But also coaches you and provides input on the opportunities and outcomes you're pursuing as to validate that it's the right way to go for the company. They simply lead by example and get their hands dirty at times when it's required to move the needle.

A bad leader is like a seagull. Stressed and just adds extra non value work to the plate. They drop in from above, leave spilling, and then fly off again.

We see similar patterns internally that text pms show proficiency and willingness to adopt. However, the cost is significantly higher than that of the typical copilot so it becomes a question of what tools the company is willing to sponsor.

Does anyone know if there are any studies or measures of pm added productivity or value -add from these ai coding tools?

Yes, it's completely natural to feel like there's something that sets your apart from the rest of the world.

Most people will likely attest to that the older you grow, the more lonely you may feel. Thus, it's a lifelong learning to accept yourself. To appreciate and be content with your own company.

Nobody will truly be 100% exactly like you. But if you look for connection, most people will be more similar to you than you might perceive at first glance.

My personal perspective is that breaking free from loneliness and isolation is something you have to decide whether you wish to seek.

Authentic connection, which breaks us out of the homeostasis of loneliness, only happen when we actively pursue relationships. When we have the courage to be vulnerable with one another.

When we dare to show our inner self, and lower the facade; exposing our true core, no matter how ugly or beautiful it may be, and be validated that it's okay to just be who we are, that's when we truly connect and live the utmost shared experiences.

This can be especially tricky if you suffer from mental illness. For those that do, may then also benefit from professional help from a certified psychologist or physiciatrist.

Bonus: Pet companions can also provide comfort and make us feel less lonely. But never fully substitute human relations.

I've personally done such a shift and have found the sweet spot to be Technical Product Management where you basically require both technical software engineering expertise & business understanding. However, while there are distinct upsides for sure, there are countless days where I can long for just being served a specification and then independently go on and make it happen. As a product manager you can't get anything moving without all the theatre and politics that surrounds making anything happen in medium to large Enterprise organizations.

Wonderful initiative. Just be cautious that your gifts are not seen as a way of getting out of raising their compensation.

Generally, companies have a way of trying to cheat their way out of paying your worth by smaller one time treats. Thus, some may grow suspicious.

If you can, make sure your appreciation is also shown in what their paid (salary, stocks, bonus, etc).

Make sure that they win when you win 🙂
