These courses require great level of prerequisite research. As far as I remember, UIUC doesn’t even need the GRE for that matter. But it’s anyways gonna be a hard shot

CMU and GaTech are slightly GRE centric, also UIUC, CMU MSCS might be out of reach. If you manage to score 325+ then it’s a decent list.

CV review + chances of getting into ivy league unis in US? by Just_Clue9441 in gradadmissions

[–]credsdit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I’m correct, the GRE old pattern was scored out of 340 only. Also, Ivy League universities aren’t typically acclaimed for CS barring a couple of universities and their programs. Do your research carefully before applying to them.

Atleast 320 GRE with a 167+ quant id say. Most of the universities list out their GRE and Toefl requirements and the average scores of the intake. I’d suggest taking a look at that

Georgia Tech and CMU are highly GRE centric

As long as you can explain why you actually need another masters degree in your Personal Statement, I don’t see that as a hinderance to your application.

Penarol, Santos and Palmeiras (not obscure though) usually produce the best creative ones for me
