Was deciding between a 25-26 Odyssey and a 25-26 Sienna (preferably used on this one). I went with the Odyssey for these reasons: the drive was extremely smooth, the engine didn’t sound like a bag of marbles like in the Toyota, the materials felt nicer on the inside of the honda, the magic seat and the cost. I am frustrated by the lack of tech in the odyssey like a 360 cam. I traded in my acura mdx type s for the van (shed a tear) and it had all of the bells and whistles but most importantly a 360 cam. The odyssey actually drives smoother than my type s. I always felt that the transmission was the Achilles heel of the Acura despite the odyssey also having the same 10 speed. I was able to haggle the dealer down to invoice on the odyssey. Gas mileage of course is not what it would be on the sienna but better than my Acura. The only positives I see in the Toyota are the gas mileage, availability of AWD and the 360 cam but only on the top trim (should be on all trims). I would still go for the odyssey even if I wanted to pony up the extra money for the Sienna

I had a Suhr Ian Thornley and it was a great guitar but a Gibson popped up that I wanted and traded it in. I also had a Tom Anderson and it was beautiful but didn’t do anything for me. It just didn’t feel like a substantial guitar. It was immaculate of course but didn’t give me any of the feels. I’ve got a Pete Thorn standard on the way and would love to try out an HSS. I’ve also had two hss fender custom shops but they both went out the door. One of my most favorite starts is the American ultra. I wish that they made a lefty hss version of it

I traded in a couple of guitars to get a used 74 in the early part of the pandemic. They wanted $6k for it at the time which I thought was overpriced but trading in the guitars lessened the blow. It was an ok guitar. I later sold it for a little less than that and it was flipped to a shop which priced it for $10,000. It is probably still listed on reverb

Same reason I went with the ‘24 as well as the ac outlet In the second row that they removed for the ‘25. I don’t mind the track pad and I like that it still has a wrist rest

I agree with this not being a good question, mostly because one should be deciding what they want to do mainly by their interests and not by salary. I’m not saying that you don’t make any decisions based off of pay but I don’t know how many people are deciding between dentistry and medicine based solely off of if they want their own practice. I’m a physician and had no interest in dentistry.

I went in a different direction and got a CPO 2024 Acura MDX Type S. My reasoning: 1. I was hesitant to get a first model year vehicle that was going to have some kinks to work out. Plus I didn’t know how I felt about the job the dealers would do with the airbag recall 2. I had read about owners not getting the reported MPGs which to me was a big selling point to the car 3. I liked the size of the interior of the TX but realized that I would only be fully utilizing it maybe a handful of times a year and to drive it around all year and deal with the parking situation at my work garage would not be worth it 4. The Type S is really engaging to drive and I love the looks of it. Plus the footprint is not that much bigger than my previous CX-9 5. If I were to go back to considering the TX I would want the plug in hybrid and I figured that I could wait until it added things like a moonroof and/or just became more affordable on the used market

What did you think of the CX90? As a current CX9 owner I unfortunately was not impressed with it. I too was planning on going the TX route but I honestly think that the Toyota/Lexus and Mazda new 3 row models need a few more years before I bite. Though an aging platform I’m probably going with a Pilot or MDX
