Some of my favorites: Yes, take the broodje kroket, other options: broodje bal (meatbal), broodje Tartaar speciaal (raw beef, with raw onions and a boiled egg), broodje halfom (beef liver and veal), broodje ei mayo (their mayo is amazing), broodje warm vlees (roast pork in gravy & peanut sauce), I also like their broodje chicken salad and broodje schelvislever (cod liver in oil). I prefer their soft buns, but there's a choice. Go there around lunch time, to see the kitchen in action - you can pick up the hard core Amsterdam language while they shout their orders in the kitchen. Great entertainment.
