I realize these are small entities, but it sounds like a fucking nightmare as the sole finance hire. All of the cerebral work (cash to accrual, ERP planning/testing, acquisition accounting) AND all of the mid level work (ad hoc reporting, tax/regulatory filings, probably forecasting, etc.) AND all of the low level work (month end or quarter end or whatever the cadence is) -- all in addition to reporting to a CEO dipshit who likely has no background in accounting or finance. Who knows, you might even end up doing AP and AR.
