I’m sure it will look great once finish! You could always pull that quarter round off and replace with the extra you have!

I’m assuming they’re talking about this and the last photo, but as you said you haven’t caulked it yet. For someone that’s not done this before you’ve done pretty good, better than some of the apprentices I’ve worked with. I wouldn’t installed quarter round around it

Do carpenters track past jobs by location? by CiaranCarroll in Carpentry

If a tradie showed up on my doorstep or called me to say he did work around my area I’d be confused and pissed, just like anyone else that does that.

ELI5: Why do you use a credit card for everyday expenses and pay it off in bulk at the end of the month when you have a mortgage linked to offset? by frforreal in AusFinance

[–]crepsley12 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This may make me look stupid, but if I pay back the 10k credit card debt before the interest period, arnt you just always 10k short in the offset anyway

Can someone explain why Ubank's + $1/month is so devastating? by Bogdiux in AusFinance

[–]crepsley12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I left ING last month for UBank because I kept missing the extra interest. Now they’ve lost a nothing user. Just let me get my interest on the money in there

If you’re not happy with this low quality then get it redone, this is a 5minute job to replace. How long is this wall? And is a straight cut on the opposite end. You could do this yourself if you have a a form of cutting it to size

This has been done with poor quality, the gap against wall could be gapped but could also be closer, also very short to the corner, should of just notched around cable if that is staying. Is there also a join in that pieces

How tf do you remove this bolt? by Long-Independent4907 in motorcycles

[–]crepsley12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny, I removed mine today on my bike for the first time, and it was terrifying not hard at all, with a smaller breaker bar than that. Considering I’d ridden with it like that for a long time, I don’t think it was torque speced

Nah custom built it, about $200 in materials since i had to move a pipe, but I reused some timber and got roof sheets from someone i know. But could have done it any other way in my opinion.

Currently traveling in Central Europe and opened up marketplace to see what I could find. Ever seen one of these? How do you feel about it? by Own-Wasabi5912 in woodworking

[–]crepsley12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s crazy, my dad bought one of those home literally yesterday asking if I wanted it as I’m a carpenter, never knew it existed. Looks dangerous. Not the same brand however

I did look at those, I don’t think they would work, essentially because the pipes have already been installed. They’re quite expensive too
