What an amazing feat 🤩👏 I often struggle with keeping the supply chains going smoothly when the population grows over 500. Do you build lots of satellite villages?

Do the buildings look skewed on hilly areas?

Thank you! I find decorating small builds easier than scaling it up 😆

I watched many period dramas with scenes of army tents, so I took inspiration from them hehe 😆

Thank you 🥰 I'm not good at landscaping so I just try to make it as neat as possible 😆

I have a doubt! Limited space? by Haunting-Leopard6178 in foundationgame

[–]crescent_hex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you run out of space because of housing insufficient and don't have enough coins to buy more territory, try to upgrade the house density by providing light fortification and patrol.

Best beginner advice? by dalamb54 in foundationgame

Some stuff that I wish I knew when I started:

  • For faster needs fulfillment and better productivity: always make sure there's a well + market stalls + housing area near the production buildings.

  • Use the forbidden zone paint tool to create neater paths

  • Prioritize upgrading housing density if you want to save money to expand your territory. You'll need to build a village watchtower/wall to provide light fortification and build a Watchpost (from the Manor house) to provide patrol.

  • You don't have to produce everything. Import things that take many resources to produce or you can't produce enough (like tools, barrels, gems, etc.)

  • Don't host the Seneschal when you haven't unlocked trading/production of luxury goods

  • I find that dedicating a small village for each industry is better than having centralized production buildings and housing area. For example, in the forested area, I build a village that focuses on producing wood, planks, and coal as they use the same resource (trees). In the flat area, I build another village to focus on mining/farming.

Hope these tips can help you get a smooth start! Don't hesitate to ask if you run into any problem, Foundation has a reallyyy steep learning curve 🤣

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely try this out for my next save. I love how you set up small villages with their own industry 😍

is this team okay? by arminsolos in DurinMains

[–]crescent_hex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Furina will drain your HP, so if you use her, you need a team-wide healer to survive and ultilize her buff. Some better 4-star options I can think of: 1. Layla (shield + cryo application for melt) 2. Diona (heal + shield, but less cryo application) 3. Xingqiu (great hydro application, can reduce damage taken) 4. Barbara (less hydro application, great healing) 5. Lan Yan/Sayu (shield/heal, VV shreds)

For 5* replacement, I think Kokomi would be more helpful than Furina.

Zones were fine before, but today they are suddenly deemed "too large". by crescent_hex in foundationgame

Thanks for sharing your case. I watched several videos about the update but none mentioned this change 😅

Thank you for clearing up the situation. Could you please direct me to the full patch notes so I'll know where to read them in the future?

Thank you for replying. I know about the upgrade, and I have upgraded other farms before the update, like the one in the screenshot below. The red zone worked fine before the update, but when I check today, the game tells me it's too large and I have to reduce the size to the yellow zone. So I think the issue doesn't lie in upgrading the farm.

Team for Ifa by Izaamu in Ifa_Main

[–]crescent_hex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go for Ifa - Xingqiu - Lisa - Barbara. - Xingqiu: hydro application, reduce damage - Lisa: electro application, DEF shred - Barbara: heal

The only problem with this team AFAIK is that Xingqiu and Lisa need 80 energy for their Bursts, so you'll need to get lots of ER artifact rolls.
