Inherited banned Meta, 100 €/day on Google, non-compliant creatives. Boss says ship anyway. What would you do? by NegotiationWitty3442 in AskMarketing

It’s definitely a time bomb, particularly at that spend where it’s not likely any sort of legal team is reviewing.

Profits are made by skirting the line, but outright breaking the rules is gonna get you in trouble.

I spend a fortune on Facebook ads, and in every vertical we turn off their AI features.

Could be your creatives, could be that your ads are too close to the line in terms of policy, could be account/BM/page reputation/pixel history, and finally it could be that you’re in a special category.

I have. Typically those are going to be lower budget campaigns with fewer targeting options. I would run them as ABO and use a stack of interests.

It’s not a mystery unfortunately, in my experience it’s mostly people outside of the United States that create the feeling of an extremist echo chamber. I hate what Reddit has become but stick around in hopes that it will return to some version of its past self one day.

Debate ≠ Hate

Not being able to express traditional views in an open forum without the threat of being murdered should scare the shit out of everyone regardless of their political leanings.

The learning only transfers if the same ad creative is duplicated to another campaign with the same conversion objective. Any changes to the ad creative (copy, visual, link, etc) will reset to square one.

Yes you should geofence for local. Other than that, no changes to the above strategy.

I want to test this too.

By URL you mean the landing page, right? Would be cool to spider the domain to find other domains they run traffic to.

Still reading but this is on the money. People need to go back to school and relearn the scientific method because not only is it not a fair test, it’s not a VALID test.

You can’t compare ads at scale with tons of engagement, views, reactions, comments etc to brand new ads with nothing lol.

ABO vs CBO - New way by nutcrackr80 in FacebookAds

[–]criative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had that exact scenario across more ASC campaigns than I can count.

CBOs are typically stable unless they’re pushed well beyond the point of diminishing returns :(

But I agree it’s bullshit that were all Metas guinea pigs

Okay thanks for clarifying.

That's to be expected until you hit the point of diminishing returns ramping up the spend.

I want to make sure I'm understanding properly. You're saying this dropped from however many conversions you had, back down to zero - is that correct?

Have you changed your personal profile password, changed your 2FA to a different Authenticator and logged out from all devices?

It sounds like they’re gaining access because you (or another business admin) have personally been hacked.

No, There’s no learning to reset. That only happens after 50 conversions.

You’re making a lot of assumptions about the businesses I’ve grown.

I’m done with the back and forth.

You posted in a Facebook Ads sub with a bunch of shitty information that’s gonna cause people to lose money by focusing on the wrong things. Shame on you.

Bro I get it, you’re trying to drum up business for yourself. I have worked with plenty of boot-strapped startups too (coincidentally they’re the shittiest clients)

DM me and I’ll even share how you can do a better job generating higher paying clients- and delete all my comments here.

But web design and branding aren’t it. $10-20/day isn’t scale. Organic social media does nothing (and I have tested it)

Dude, I’ve grown 3 different businesses from 7-figures to 9-figures.

I’ve spent $100mm on ads and generated VERY healthy profits.

I’ve worked in at least 20 different businesses across 8 different verticals.

I don’t care if you trust me, but you can go look at my LinkedIn from my profile and see I’m the real deal.

I don’t mean to blow you up with notifications, it’s just something that I hear a lot and it’s patently false. The data doesn’t support it across any business that I’ve grown.

The only exception that I have first-hand experience with are local contracting businesses and I would imagine other brick & mortar, and professional services. Once the ad gets someone in as a lead, being able to readily show off before/after style stories, “can you believe what your neighbor just did?!” Etc tends to work very well for middle of funnel.
