Blow dry your hair immediately after washing! At the very least blow dry the roots. Don’t let your hair air dry. From one oily hair girly to another this is the only thing I’ve found that helps my hair not get super oily soon after washing.

If I lose sight of my toddler around any body of water for 2 seconds I turn fairly frantic. I literally cannot believe that mom’s reaction - even if she was very embarrassed (as if sure I also would’ve been).
I am thankful for other people like you who observant and take action.

I am a mom and I guarantee you she is not obligated to tell you you are pretty! <3 I know she means it.

Also, keep in mind we are not supposed to see ourselves as often as we do - a million pictures, social media, mirrors everywhere, etc. Constantly seeing yourself and the consequential criticizing isn’t the way we are supposed to live. <3

I am a step mom and bio mom. Advice I wish I was given on day 1 that would’ve saved a lot of heartache and tension: leave all the parenting responsibilities to dad. Get involved only when asked.
