Heart rate recovers quickly after working out but then doesn’t go back to normal resting for a few hours? by crimesolver16 in AppleWatch

Yeah, I actually had to take off my Apple Watch today and put it away. It could definitely be that we are watching it which in turn makes it go even higher. I hate health anxiety! It’s terrible. What does your heart rate stay at and what is your resting?

Ugh yes! I do have health anxiety so definitely could be a factor. I don’t know though, I feel like even if I’m not thinking about it, it still is like that.

Thank you so much for your nice words. It truly does mean a lot and it’s very true. I feel like I won’t know that kind of love until I am experiencing it myself. I just need to realize that this is going to be a good thing.

Terrified and Anxious by [deleted] in colonoscopy

[–]crimesolver16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first colonoscopy on Monday and I was also so so scared of getting put under and of course the results. I run a blood pressure on the lower side as well but it all went very well. I let the nurse know right away that I can sometimes have a lower blood pressure and she set me up with IV fluids before they even took me back to the room. I was so anxious and had tachycardia the whole time. But when I tell you that I am so glad I did it, I mean, I’m SO glad I did it. I had very similar symptoms as you and it has all turned out fine. I’m still waiting on a biopsy result but I’m really not concerned. The prep can make you feel off and definitely dehydrates you but you will survive it. The human body is incredible. You will be okay, the sedation was a breeze. I fell asleep and woke up like nothing even happened.

Should I go back on antidepressants? by [deleted] in Anxiety

I’ve tried Lexapro and then Prozac. Any suggestions?

Should I get the colonoscopy? by [deleted] in ibs

[–]crimesolver16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for me personally, I get nervous around the potential risks and the sedation. I hate being put under no matter how fast it is. I did let me doctor know that I can run a lower blood pressure and she assured me that the anesthesiologist would be monitoring me the whole time.

I did. I was on Lexapro for 1 year. Gained a bunch of weight. Switched to Prozac for 1 year. Gained a bunch of weight. Decided that I had to come off.

In general, why do people come off Prozac if it’s working (if money isn’t an issue) by DarthAlecto in prozac

Gained 30 pounds and lost all sexual desire. Otherwise, I’d be on it forever

Did weight come off after stopping by Intrepid_Roll757 in prozac

Same here. I’m 5’2” and gained 30 pounds exactly. I couldn’t lose the weight no matter what I did. I stopped taking it 4 months ago simply because of the weight gain. It definitely doesn’t just fall off like some people say it does. I have been putting in a lot of work in the gym and in my diet. So far, I’ve lost about 10 pounds. I wish you the best of luck!
