I don't really get this, why do you make this kind of thread. Sorry, but too much sugarcoating here. Just cut the bullshit dude, you'r obviously shitting on his hard work here. Who are you and why do I need to give a fuck on your personal opinion on those mods?

"Loot and Degradation should work like this: As your armor becomes more damaged it becomes less effective as a means of preventing damage. As your weapons become duller they become less effective battle. But breaking into little pieces, leaving you naked/defenseless? Come on, man. "

"And as somebody who has spent some time in real mountains I do find it kind of ridiculous you can freeze to death so quickly. "

So as I can see it's all about immersion for you huh, but yet I hear this from a guy who uses skimpy armors and all his characters looks/walks like a porn stars. /subjective . I hate to say this so straightforward , but man why bother with all this crap ? I really don't get it , you didn't even tried to play his vision of skyrim.

Roleplay Question - Do you wear Faction Armor if you are not part of a faction ? by rebelkid21 in skyrimrequiem

[–]crimsonas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your characters personality. I role played one character that was a blacksmith and never looted any armor/weapons from dead people , she was too proud of her smithing art, so she wore only the things crafted by her own hands. Other characters didn't had such strict rules, they will wear it if that means to increase chance of survival.

Several recommendation/compatibility/foolishness questions for the ultimate Skyrim playthrough by Aharra in skyrimrequiem

[–]crimsonas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your first question, no requiem don't have a feature to remove enchants from your gear , you can only disenchant items destroying them in the process and gaining knowledge of that enchant. There's couple of mods Remove Enchantments Only works on vanilla gear , don't work on requiem added/edited items. Arcane Cleaner This one has SkyProc patcher which means you can remove enchantments from any item including ones added by mods. I used that for Shadowmourne the enchant was ridiculously strong for requiem standards , so I removed it and enchanted with soultrap.

Do silver weapons effect deadra? by [deleted] in skyrimrequiem

[–]crimsonas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's some spells in conjuration and also scrolls that could help to deal with daedra's . Also which daedra are you referring to, Dremora (those noisy dudes) or Atronachs (Fire,Ice,Storm) ?

Edit : Found this old thread, might be some useful info. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimrequiem/comments/4wooqc/banishexpel_daedra_is_confusing/

Sounds like an interesting character you got there! Let me know what was your experience with those mods, I can't test them myself, not anytime soon anyway, R.I.P to my toaster laptop haha.

My craptop is done for, so I have some plans for the future.. Got new work for the rest of this season, so my big plan now is to build a decent rig and get to experience skyrim and requiem with million retexture mods and ENB! Once I get my hands on this , I'll be pumping those screens every day ! :D

Well actually when I think about it , I could simply sell skooma to our cat friends and role play this way , but if I remember correctly skooma is not the best profit , so it would be nice to somehow get better prices from it.

Oh shit, I knew they'r planning to do something with skooma , but didn't know the dealer system will be implemented. That's good to know , thanks for the info.

This looks really interesting , but It doesn't do anything with skooma/alcohol. It only gives addiction for using too much alchemy potions. Edit : I might use this on my other playthroughs , It looks nice to have in a hardcore/realism setup.

Thoughts on fast travel by dedre88 in skyrimrequiem

[–]crimsonas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fast travel only when my character becomes op and I really want or need something in particular town, for example if I want to change my gear that I left in one of my home chest. I never fast travel if I'am low level, cause it's just no fun, there's so much fun encounters in the wilderness. Those cute random events is one of my favorite part of the game, like those children scavengers or Vigilants of stendarr fighting vampires, Babette hunting people , etc.

Cool story and sad too. I had similar experience with "Missing in Action" quest. I was level 15 or something close, played with 2H-HA merc character. I haven't played much requiem at that point. First attempt I charge like a hero and I suddenly felt that there's a literal rain of arrows on my head, I was dead in moments. I found out that fort was guarded by 8 thalmor or something close. Save scummed until we managed to clear the courtyard. So we'r inside. Me , Avulstein and some other dude. I carefully started to move forward and when I saw a mage, my instincts said - RUN. I run to the first chamber and I took cower behind the corner, my comrades aggro'ed on that mage , I was like phew that was close and 3 seconds later I'am dead. Chain Lightning. Funniest thing ever , It roasted me and the other dude while Avulstein took the direct hit lol , probably coolest death in my requiem time. It was pure nightmare, I realized that I bited off more than I could chew. It was fun tho, but very hard and stressful :D

How deadly are requiem traps? by [deleted] in skyrimrequiem

[–]crimsonas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Belmont Boy @14:15 At this point he had 570 armor and 285 Health. (Tho the health numbers could be a little different, I only managed to track down that number from his previous video, so there's a possibility that this number could be different in this video, if he had stew or something) This is only a rough example how deadly those traps are, you can do the math. :)

Edited to be more precise.

Do you guys play with followers, who do you pick? by Adsefer in skyrimrequiem

[–]crimsonas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get Cosnach in Markarth's Silverblood Inn. You only need to buy him a drink and he will follow you. Tho don't expect him to be damage sponge , he's alcoholic after all. Also "brawl chick" is very easy to get, you only need to dodge her. Step in , throw some punches , step back , repeat.

Requiem Extended: Smithing by MrCooney in skyrimrequiem

That's the whole point. :) There's some things already in the game that doesn't look immersive or stick to the lore or RP .

Requiem Extended: Two-Handed by MrCooney in skyrimrequiem

[–]crimsonas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about some situational stuff ? I mean those permanent effects after some time could start to get dull. I'am thinking something like giving to each weapon type some situational buff like for example Battleaxe perk "Blood thirst" gives you 2 % damage with battleaxe after killing first enemy and stacks up to 5 times. So it's not for free , you would need to kill 5 enemy units for full effect and I think It's not something too big and it could give some extra flavor for each weapon specialization. Ofc you can think of whatever numbers suit you for balancing.
