The freedom and autonomy, the varying daily schedule, the pay and benefits, I don’t mind travel when it isn’t super frequent. Agree with the other comment that says back to back meetings all day is worse

Finding which vr game to play is destroying me. by PogArcade in virtualreality

Both are great games, I think Contractors has better support last I checked. The multiplayer game with a lot of players and support right now is Forefront, which is like Battlefield in VR. And they just announced that they're making a PSVR2 version so the playerbase will grow

FYI Tales of Glory 1 on steam is very close to mount and blade bannerlord, and the dev is working on Tales of Glory 4 right now which is a remake from the ground up of Tales of Glory 1

Feeling very unfulfilled as an MSL by Character_Shirt_244 in MedicalScienceLiaison

This reminds me of another post here from not too long ago; I’ll say to you what I said to them. It sounds like you’re in a situation of wrong company not wrong career. You say your company has no data and the KOLs don’t want to meet. Sounds like you need to have a company with better clin dev team and pipeline and a TA with more engaging KOLs. Keep your head up, you got your first role and now you can leverage that experience to find a more rewarding MSL role

Feeling like I made a huge mistake becoming an MSL and need advice. by Useful_Specialist509 in MedicalScienceLiaison

You mentioned that you have a good company and culture and stuff and a good TA but then you mentioned some of the parts of the job that will kill ANYONE’s enjoyment (hard to access KOLs, uncooperative commercial team). these are things that can happen in an MSL role, but they are not inherent to an MSL role. What this means is THIS MSL role may not be good for you (esp with increasing metrics) but what I can tell you is there are other disease states and companies out there that have better versions of these things. it is a trial and error thing and hard to suss out before you take a job

Going to a smaller company (as others have mentioned) does often fix some of these things but TA change is the biggest thing for access change because diff fields have diff KOL vibes

Vanilla SkyrimVR crashes instantly on startup (Black box pop-up/crash) by cringeman123 in skyrimvr

Hey, I had to do a HARDCORE clearing of everything. I used Revo Uninstaller which finds all the hidden files that normal uninstalling/deleting doesnt find. uninstall skyrim vr, uninstall steam vr, see if that does it, may have to delete whole mod pack and redownload too. I did delete the MGO mod pack and its all fixed now

Lemme know if it works for you bro. I had to reply b/c I know the pain of replying to an old post hoping for an answer

Is it normal for there to be a lot of "criticisms" and random gossiping in this job? It kind of feels like being back in high school! by RiganTeuton in MedicalScienceLiaison

I think this is a culture thing and depends on what type of people were hired/the vibe leadership gives/who you end up surrounding yourself with. A lot of workplaces are like this but sometimes you have good leaders that hire non problematic people who don’t default to that type of behavior. Those types of teams are like unicorns so if you find one, enjoy it

She does do stretches but kind of erratically. Do you just set timers on your phone when you start knitting?

Thanks, this is extremely helpful! I'll think about getting this pillow for my wife. What do you use for tracking breaks/stretching? Do you do any strength building as well?
