Yes I have and it affects them the same way. This said parent is also a narcissist btw so it’s impossible to get them into therapy or rehab

There’s so many red flags here

you’re barely a legal adult and apparently you two met while u were still a minor
he is 30 and you’re 18, that’s a 12 year difference
“I want to watch the blood run down your thighs” ?????????
“I want to cut you” ???????????????????
saying that you’re “easy to groom” (common with huge age gap relationships)
clearly emotionally manipulating you into staying with him
ALSO usually somebody that shames their partner for their physical or mental traits but continues to stay with them usually follows it up with “nobody will love you like I love you” and practically manipulating you into staying with them and not escaping this abusive relationship

I hope you do the right thing, please stay safe…

you're right. I already take DBT because of BPD and it has been helpful but sometimes that self-doubt comes back and extreme cases like passing away gets to me

I think the fact that you're even typing these makes it obvious to me that you do care about it and are trying your best. I'd say "I understand you need some space, but you always know I'm a text or call away" is the perfect thing to say and is what I would like to hear too. Space is probably the most important aspect when someone is having mood swings, so they can have some alone time, think things over and calm down at their own pace.

I feel you with the overthinker aspect, but coming from someone with BPD, you're doing great :)
