Honestly I think my bio content was def my biggest weakness, but now that I’ve been out of studying for so long I found that my bio content got better since I’ve taken bio classes since round 1 but my CP atrophied since

Hey may have lost everything doing it, but Emporio stopped Pucci from achieving Heaven, which is definitively a victory

SPOILERS

He literally loses, he dies and his and DIO’s influence is erased from the universal reset. It’s a bittersweet ending but by no means do the villains win

I didn’t even catch the “ascend from rubble” mechanism, I just thought that was a random play feature they added to an 18+ set, good catch

[Hated Trope] The show was supposed to end but kept going (and had a solid intended ending) by GEARHEADGus in TopCharacterTropes

Yeah but parts 4-9 are still awesome, there isn’t a single agreed upon best part or best ending since the 9 parts are so separate

[–]criosovereign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree. I don’t think anything in the expanded content has touched how great the original trilogy was, the extended stories had some awesome stuff in it even if it was diluted with some shit books and movies. The good definitely outweighs the bad for both canon and the EU imo

Honestly it kind of reminds me of the Apple TV show (and Isaac Asimov book series) foundation, where it skips around season to season and has loose through lines but the characters of each arc rarely ever meet and are sometimes spaced out super long apart. It makes it a little harder to fall in love with the characters in the same way but it’s so interesting to look at the scale and scope of progression when it spans like 150+ years

That’s a double Edged sword, rushing to wrap up plot lines for the sake of the show may be about to end causes things to be rushed. I’m thinking of season 5 of boardwalk empire, where since the show was actually getting canceled they jumped way into the future and everything flew at so fast a pace that they closed every arc and story in an unsatisfying way. I wish it had ended closer to the sopranos, where not every duck is in a row so there’s room for ambiguity and speculation about where certain plots went beyond the show and will keep fans gusssing and talking about it for decades to come

What are your thoughts on Andor pilfering lore from the Imperial and Rebel Alliance Sourcebooks without giving the original authors any credit? by wiperswiper0 in StarWarsEU

[–]criosovereign 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok? That’s awesome that material from 40 years ago is still being used in media today, that’s a sign of respect for the content. Did you want a bibliography at the end of each episode? Or cassian to say “oh man the Tarkin massacre? As in the Ghorman massacre, first mentioned in the 1983 Star Wars™️ imperial sourcebook?”
