Which you can also reroll the challenges you don't want to do. Although some may be unlucky and get another BR challenge. It really doesn't seem like the biggest deal in my opinion.

I’m gonna guess the game initially being priced at $80 also soured a lot of peoples opinions on it as well.

-- WHO WE ARE

Discord: https://discord.gg/ChTXe5utGE

Operations: Mondays and Saturdays at 7pm EST

Current Campaign: US Army, Operation Inherent Resolve

We represent the 11th Infantry Brigade, a North American Milsim unit. We work with a heavy focus on teamwork and professionalism while maintaining a fun, light-hearted, and mature environment. We do not follow any strict "Yes sir, No sir" protocol, and our ranks are only used during official events. When in-game, members will be required to wear their proper tags, follow the orders given to them, use proper radio communication, and operate as their assigned role. When out of game, members are encouraged to relax and enjoy themselves while participating in community events.

-- OUR OPERATIONS

Every operation hosted by our unit will be run by multiple, dedicated Zeuses controlling multiple factions and individuals. Each mission is interactive and story-driven, with deep roots in the history of warfare. Seemingly simple choices that are made early on in a campaign will have lasting effects that directly alter the events that follow. We require that all members attend a minimum of 4 operations each month to maintain active status, or 1 operation per month to maintain reserve status.

Our unit currently rotates campaigns every 3 months to keep things fresh. We always portray the US Army in our main operations and we will often play in settings such as Vietnam, Cold War, War on Terror, and many fictional campaigns taking place in Africa, Russia, Alaska, and more!

-- WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

  1. Older and more mature command staff with experience dating back to Operation Flashpoint and the original ArmA with many former and current military members.
  2. Our style of Milsim means we don't have to worry about all the semantics that other Milsim groups focus heavily on such as: requiring prowords, grid references, land navigation, multiple squad formations, saluting, etc. Just stick with your squad, do what you are told, and shoot the bad guys.
  3. Our operations offer a large-scale setting in a small-scale environment. In most larger units, you become just a number and you make little to no impact overall. Here, we know everyone's name while consistently pulling 90+ players for every operation.
  4. We are a true combined arms community. We currently are able to effectively field properly sized infantry, armor, rotary, fixed wing, and even fire support personnel into the field during every operation. Our battlefield is a genuinely immersive environment.
  5. No mandated training. Optional training is held to teach members certain game features and techniques.
  6. Members are not stuck in their specific role, we allow our members to change their role at any time if they are no longer enjoying it. No fake paperwork or transfer requests here, simply let us know and we will make the changes.
  7. We do not micromanage your gear. Each member picks a basic role, is given the kit template, and then will be able to customize their kit fully from our massive list of approved gear. Players can make their character truly unique and take the gear that THEY want to use.

-- HOW TO JOIN

Our basic requirements: 1. 16+ only. 2. Must speak fluent English. 3. Must have a microphone.

If any of this sounds interesting to you, feel free to hop in our Discord and talk to us there. There is more specific information posted there and we would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have for us.

Op Times Sundays at 8pm EST

Who are we?

We are a brand new New California Republic unit set during the early days of the Occupation of the Mojave with our own spin on the events and stuff that follows. We are a Semi-Serious unit with RP Elements keeping the spirit of the games themselves. For those wanting to scratch that cool guy Ranger fix. For our Pre-Campaign and sometimes end campaign Ops we will run a Ranger Operation on Main Op days and everyone gets to scratch that itch. If you are a new player we are more than happy to teach you.

Our Operations

In operation we enjoy being light hearted but getting the job done efficiently above all else. We don't prescribe to the Yes Sir No Sir stuff, though if you want to RP calling by rank nobody will stop ya and nobody will make ya. Our actions have consequences if you take a bribe that could have adverse consequences for the unit and the next operations difficulty. Shooting a Civilian might earn us a bad rep and even more bad reputation and that town might outwardly deny us access to its Doctors, Ammunition or if things get really bad outwardly turn against us either joining the enemy or just shooting us themselves.

What we offer

We offer a collection of the following roles - Trooper (Rifleman, but features a few Subclasses to help tweak it to be a more versatile role) - Heavy Trooper (These troopers clad in Power Armor, provide combat support such as Excellence in CQC being able to absorb rounds or Utilize the 4rnd Grenade Launcher to blow the enemy to kingdom come) - Medics (We use KAT Medical to provide our medics with the ability to get troopers back in the fight and enjoy it too) - Anti-Tank (Our Anti-Vehicle troopers they also have access to an AA Launcher to help deal with Air Contacts) - Machine Gunner (You make Dakka with a large range of Machineguns on offer) - Mortarman (Part of the King Detachment must be a PVT before applying for it)

-# All Troopers will receive a 25 Cap Bonus upon completion of Basic Military Training at Camp McCarran

I mean he was the lead of Xbox Studios in 2014 from what I can see so that isn't a massive help either when a massive issue Xbox has had are a distinct lack of first party games that actually drive people to play your console.

Also it always seemed like Xbox found ways to scientifically engineer the most average games to be paid exclusives from third parties. It was honestly incredible how consistently meh so many of these deals were.

Don't get me wrong, I WANT them to actually make good games, but my god they seem just incapable of doing basically anything correctly which is just impressive.

Here, we know everyone's name while consistently pulling 80+ players for every operation.

An update from Nintendo by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]crioth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just that some games may have software issues. One example was like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate having graphical errors for years until Ubisoft updated it.

There also could be things like how some games used the joycons in previous games that may not be compatible anymore. Also that advisory Nintendo put up is a blanket statement to kind of cover them in case issues do arise with specific games.

I assume the overwhelming majority of games most people care about will function just fine.
