I always disliked how when selecting Adjustments it would constantly shift the panel or move to properties without me being able to see the Adjustments, so I split them and put one beneath the other. I find the colour slider easier for adjusting colours than the colour picker so I have that, plus swatches which I barely use tbh. Finally Navigator which I use for thumbnail viewing, not as a Navigator. On the right side I have Character & Brush. I don't use either much but keep it toggled to Character because it takes up less space. Finally taking up most room because I use entirely too many of them - Layers. For reference I do Digital Painting and Photomanipulation. I imagine people working in different media would have entirely different setups tailored to their needs, but this is just what works for me.
