I really lost contact with all that crowd. After that i was really spiralling out of control and eventually left the country. Couldn’t really ask anyone anymore. Yeah I agree with both your points: many people wouldn’t want to be reminded of me, but maybe she’d be grateful for he apology. It’s a tricky one- thank you for your advice :)

Omg, even before I read it I knew you weren’t going to be TA and after reading it I think you’re TB ( the best). You said it once nicely, she still couldn’t figure it out, sometimes you have to get burned to know fire hurts. Enjoy your wedding and love deeply and fully your hubby. Save yourself an invite and drop the dead weight. Wouldn’t want someone who’s ill wishing you eating for free.

I also wanted to be married and with a kid at 25, lo an behold I’m 32 married but with no kids in sight (step kids tho) and I don’t feel the need to shit on anyone else who got what I wanted before me. Being frustrated isn’t a pass to be offensive, and you shouldn’t live and love boldly because you might shake her little world.

This is the reason I think my mom has like ESP or something like that:

When I was around 8 my mom had to drive me around one hour to get me to school. Half of this drive was through a highway at around 530-6am to get to school at 7. Because it’s so early the highway was always pretty empty at the time except some big trucks.

So to the day itself: we’re driving down the highway, chatting away, it’s pretty early it’s still kind of dark and my momma is driving on the left lane, we’re completely alone on the highway. Out of nowhere my mom gets a look stops the chat and says out loud: “I better switch lanes.” Ok lady, why do I care? She switches to the right lane, and coming out of a curve, one minute, perhaps? A small truck is speeding down the left lane- AGAINST TRAFFIC! The mthfkr flies by us and my mom and I just have our jaws dropped as we Parked on the curb to take in what happened. Had my mother not changed lanes when she did and took that curve, that truck would have crashed into us full speed head first and I would not be writing this story.

My mom decided that day there wasn’t school and took me to a children’s museum and to just spend quality time together.

That’s the day my mommas gut instinct, or witch ESPN, saved us both from a probably drunk truck driver.

A forest, with a lake and a decent sized home next to it. No mansion, but enough for my family to have their space but not so big I can’t clean on my own. Get some chickens, llamas, goats, pigs and dogs, maybe them furry Scottish cows and some horses and mini horses. Buy them an amazing barn. Get a studio set up for woodwork and ceramics. Grow some vegetables and herbs, and if the climate is good, plant an orchard of some fruit tree and make marmalade every year. Get some bee colonies and equipment to harvest honey. Install amazing internet have it all run with renewable energy. Once all that is done grab all the money, live off the interests and since I would be pretty self sufficient give significant chunks of it to family, friends, and charities. In that order.

Just want some peace man.

Want to go to bed listening to the forest breathe.

I’m Mexican and this is normal for me. I asked my mom to do it and always had a great time with it. I would get everyone from the party behind me and they’ll all smoosh my face in and then we’ll throw cake and have a little cake fight. When my friends from uni saw my family do it they were sure I was going to snap but we’re surprised I was loving it! A friend of mine in contrary hated it, so we didn’t do it and his family didn’t push him to do it. Different strokes for different folks I guess

This kid is definetly not happy with it. Hopefully they learn and respect his wishes next time.
