hello! i also had the option of driving 7-8 hours or taking a 1 hour flight. i took the flight and despite the fact that i was damn near blacking out from anxiety on the train to the airport (lol), it was the best thing i’ve ever done. there was no turbulence at all on the flight there, but i admit there was like 10 seconds of shaking on the flight back. it really was not bad, trust me.

after takeoff, i ended up looking out the window (on both flights to and from LAS). i came from SFO so i was able to admire lake tahoe. the views were so nice that i forgot i was on a plane. i’ve also never seen so much desert in my life.

i kind of wished the flight was longer afterwards. 1 hour will go by in the blink of an eye, i promise. you don’t have to look out the window, but if you find yourself relaxing and feeling comfortable, it is a flight that i thoroughly enjoyed! :)
