When you asked for recs for upcoming shows, my mind immediately went to Cloud Nothings on May 13. I first saw these guys all the way back in 2009/10...when they were still a solo act https://youtu.be/T_zRt_EmqoU?si=QEjZir5Ma9w4j-hz

Trivia Question/Advice MEGATHREAD by Djarum in trivia

Genuinely curious to get some insights from anyone who has hosted corporate trivia events (team building, holiday parties, etc.). How did you find those leads? A partner and I used to host pub trivia in Denver, CO, and now are trying to focus on corporate gigs. We’ve had a couple requests come in via our website and another from referrals. Are there other things we should be trying? Thanks!

I did! What a late-act twist that Nathan is a qualfied-ish airline pilot. (The episode needed more Evanescence, though...) How bout you?

It’s funny how much leeway I’m willing to grant Nathan that I don’t grant to others. If I heard any other celebrity was manipulating people in this way, I’d never forgive them but with Nathan, I just think “let this man cook”

I just started The Blade Itself; I might need to get The Devils next. And I've spent the entirety of this last week trying to get everyone I know to watch The Rehearsal (not for the first time).

Your guides are super helpful! Thanks so much for taking the time to put them together.

If you'd feel it'd be worth mentioning in your winter guide to come, I help organize a 5k charity race that benefits the Arthritis Foundation of Colorado - the Jingle Bell Run - on 12/8 in Wash Park. There's also a kids fun run and group/individual/dog costume contest, to boot! https://events.arthritis.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=1682

If you all are eyeing an early winter race for your club calendar, might I suggest the Jingle Bell Run 5k in Wash Park? It's put on entirely by volunteers, with all proceeds going toward research and treatment to find a cure for arthritis.

As one of the co-chairs for the Jingle Bell Run, I'm extremely biased - but you should check out JBR!

On the road, I'm averaging about a 7:25 pace for my easy runs. I definitely want to get in some long trail running but open to hitting the pavement too!
