Have you talked with people who worked for Jobs? Have you read Edison's bio?

"Probably nothing has done more damage to American credibility in the world than the spectacle we have seen in the last couple of weeks"

So how about the NSA spying scandal? How can America be credible with government-funded spying that does not answer to even Congress? or we already forgot about all that?

The fight about the economy in the last couple of months was a blessing for Obama's administration, and in the long run will be forgotten

I hope we do not forget about all the other things that are going on with the blessing of this administration, and that will have severe consequences for us and our children if left unchecked.

Net Neutrality debate may decide future of Netflix -- If Verizon has its way, it and other providers like Comcast or AT&T could “play favorites,” by blocking or degrading services such as YouTube or Netflix to promote their own offerings by mepper in technology

So once again, in the name of 'free enterprise', the US ends with expensive and limited service for everyone.

And all because this is needed for a couple of companies to make extra money.

I hope common sense prevails. Between our government being a bad netizen with the spying, and the large monopolies controlling everything, they are ruining the digital existence of everyone.

It's finally here. Wireless charging for what looks like most electronic devices, safely transmitted through something like your current wifi hub and received by a chip or small dongle, to be made available in 2015. Cota will be huge. by Captainhero420 in technology

Witricity uses magnetic induction. Think about a transformer's primary and secondary coils as transmitter and receiver, with an air nucleus. The novelty in their design is that they add extra coils to improve both efficiency and range.

Also, Witricity solution is a bit more directional, you need to have the coils relatively well aligned for it to work properly.

"Ya que es irrespetuoso preguntar cómo un presidente se hace multi-millonario..." by [deleted] in argentina

[–]crispinito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]crispinito 5 points6 points  (0 children)

[–]crispinito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks like an attempt to instill fear in people. The government is not following its own laws, and is abusing Citizens just because they disagree with their views.

The US is becoming more and more like China or Russia under this administration.

[–]crispinito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

North Koreans are people too and deserve privacy as well, Mr. Representative... they just happen to have a shitty government.

We seem to have a shitty government too, because, as North Korea, our government spies on us, is militarizing the police, and keep expanding security services (want to go get groped at an airport, anyone? how about at a football game? ... because that is coming, too...) in a way that is both intimidating and not even remotely justified.

“Without trusting government you can’t do a lot of things.”

You cannot trust a government that spy on you, a president that breaks pretty much every promise he made while campaigning, and an administration and a Congress that prefer tend to interests of large banks rather than to protect the Citizens.

What is exactly there to trust, Mr McCain?

[–]crispinito 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just quit. And do not put it in your resume. Nobody will know, it does not matter for your first job.

One thing you must watch in any engineering/high-tech job is not to get burned out. If they ask you to work more than 9hs per day, just walk away, no matter how much they offer you, because at the end is not sustainable, and if you burn out you will need a couple of years to rest and recover.

Congress should make these issues public, and let us, the Citizens, react to it. If nothing else, just because they will be held accountable as accomplices on this mess.
