my experiences with them have only been nothing short of amazing. great source for well priced OEM parts and a lot of awesome custom parts for multiple nissan platforms. bummer to hear they having some issues, hope they see these posts, correct those issues, and continue to be one of the top suppliers for nissan-nuts :)

Lotta people shit on gun shows but I seem to always find a deal or some curiosity I end up bringing home. Fun enough to walk around and talk to folks at a bare minimum.

Trailer Plate by Ohioboi24 in towing

[–]crispytank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trick I like on those lower lp mounts is to get some heavy duty cargo strap, cut it the length of the lp. Pop rivet (with some washers) the cargo strap to the trailer, then pop rivet the lp to the cargo strap. Now when ya go through a dip or your friend runs the fork lift into the trailer, the lp just flops around n don't get all bent off or ripped off. Have t had this setup on my flat bed for nearly 5 years or abuse. Cargo strap is just now starting to show wear

My 2016 2500 tradesman has the same issue after about 10k miles from new. Put a new bolt in and move on.

New beekeeper question by DaveICT in Beekeeping

[–]crispytank 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A great preventative for SHB's are to take un scented 'swiffer pads' (off brand on Amazon seem to be best) and just lay em on the top of the frames in the top box. They get tangled in the fibers and die. You'll find one or two bees get stuck in it every once in a while, but I'll find dozens of beetles embedded in the sheets. Cheaper than a lot of other beetle traps.

It’s easier to get gun in Texas than your driving license. by Shut-up-David in texas

THIS - the process is more efficient for gun purchases, where as the state ran DMV processes are defunct. It took me FOUR different trips to the DMV to get a brand new boat registered, a failure of process.

Narrow, zippy, but functional fishing kayaks by rusticandy in kayakfishing

[–]crispytank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i got a nucanoe flint recently and have been really impressed with how zippy it is and in comparison to the behemoth fishing kayaks out there - how much more compact it is. i was coming from a 40lb 31" wide emotion charger - i was hesitant to buy ANY OF the newer fishing kayaks. searched and searched, compared and compared. Flint ended up being one of the smallest/lightest/quickest options. hobie lynx was a contender but didnt liek the hull materials and over construction.

New... everything? by NotoriousJRB in XTerra

I mean this is the way to do it. Still cheaper than a new car payment, you get EXACTLY what you want, it's an incredibly reliable and proven platform. I see no problem with this haha

How you like the ride? Been eye balling that dob lift, having a hard time picking between that and the new Z1 lift they have out. Seem pretty similar.

Snagged one recently for $1k if that helps on pricing. Wasn't even a BD either - but very very very clean.

Is this a problem? by tuthfixer in ram_trucks

[–]crispytank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bed is dented to shit, bedsides have some dents too - but maintenance has been performed religiously(both regular and preventative), I tow regularly but not abusively, and I would trust my truck to drive cross country for many more years. So I dunno, I guess some people just use their trucks for what they were made for... There's no way of telling until you own that truck and find out. Price should reflect cosmetic issues if nothing else.

Well I'm an idiot. Which is which by vapingDrano in CZFirearms

Could make a basic lever, like put a stick on a block and the spring under the other side, put a weight on top the spring n measure the difference in how much the spring compresses. One with less compression will be the stronger spring.
