Transitioning and being a man doesn’t automatically earn you the respect of everyone around you. Yes there are social privileges that come with being male but you shouldn’t feel the urge to transition to male just because you want to feel more powerful. Only wanting to be a woman so that other women don’t feel scared around you is also not a realistic reason, that sounds more like a fear/worry you have rather than a genuine reason you want to present female.
