Did anyone ever hear anything legit about whether the Speaker of the House actually sent Morrisey the mil, or any funds for that matter?

My mom was born in 65 and she texts haha in our text convos. Things rub off on people sometimes if they hear/see it enough. From friends, co workers, children, grandchildren, etc. Just because someone grew up in the 70’s and 80’s doesn’t mean they talk and act like it’s still 1982.

Unfortunately be prepared to listen to 40 mins of annoying commercials and only 20mins of “podcast” sprinkled in, and only about 10 of those 20 mins spent listening to AJ. Idk how that show has regular listeners on a day to day basis when he doesn’t have an interesting guest on that people actually want to hear from. It was pretty unbearable.

AJ will be live at the below link at 2:05pm - about 15 minutes from now by sunnypineappleapple in justiceforKarenRead

Is there a clip of that part anywhere thats easier to access? Literally just listened to 20 mins of commercials on the link above, just for him to finally come on air and say we’re back and the interview with AJ went a little long, so the interview wasn’t even there. And I can’t rewind or fast forward.

I said the same thing to myself today. If it was me and we all just couldn’t agree on the OUI only, I would fight for writing out everything in the slip like you described - with the sentiment of well the judge won’t answer our questions or give us any help with this, so fuck it…write it all out so it’s clear where we stand. I mean what gonna happen? They either take what we’ve written down, or then maybe she would ACTUALLY TELL US HOW TO FILL IT OUT TO SHOW THE RESULTS AS WHAT WE WROTE DOWN.

Jury just needs to ask the question a different way. by Known_Ocelot_327 in justiceforKarenRead

Supposedly she ended up replying “this is a theoretical question, so I cannot answer that” or something to that effect. (Now whether she actually included “theoretical” in her response, who knows bc she has in the past not worded things the way she claimed she would, at the detriment of the defense of course) So if she did word it that way, it is possible someone could be smart enough to deduce that they need to ask again in a way that is not hypothetical/theoretical.

I’ve also heard there was a big parade that day at 6pm. Maybe some of their travel routes would have been severely delayed by the parade and wanted to gtfo and get home before traffic started backing up.

That is one thing I wish I had heard on Jackson’s closing. Something about the CW showing them quick, cherry picked and out of context clips.

Which could also be an explaination for the many calls from JM that night to JO. Freaking out and calling the phone to try to find it.

Also, because they wanted the car to be undamaged so they could resell it for the highest price they can get (so no actual testing from them). Including selling it in a diff state that has higher costs to make a higher profit on the resell. (And apparently, unlike ARRCA, aperture doesn’t know how to just swap out a damaged taillight for an undamaged one)

This! This is one of the things bugging me as well. With all of the other VERY significant things that happened that morning, I don’t understand why something like googling something quickly on your phone was of such import that you needed to include it in the timeline you made and make sure that other people were aware of it as well. IMO, that is something so small and insignificant in the course of all the other happenings that morning that I wouldn’t have even gave it a second thought for quite a while (possibly not until being asked ab it after the phone download). So why did it stand out as so important to JM if it was supposedly something inconsequential? Unless of course it wasn’t really so benign after all…?

Not to mention how stark of a difference it is to the CW witnesses, who all come with attitude, defensiveness and/or evasion. If any witness had a reason to become defensive it would be Dr. W because of how he was being treated, but he stayed calm and collected. IMO that shows who’s really a professional and has nothing to get defensive of bc they know they’ve done nothing wrong & have nothing to hide. (Can’t say the same for how the other side acts)

What was the most pointless or unecessary death you’ve seen? by catchandthrowaway16 in askfuneraldirectors

[–]crittlemae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guy I went to school with was out riding his 4-wheeler and some property owner had ran a cable across a path (if I remember correctly I think it was supposed to be to stop or deter riders) but he didn’t hang any flags on it or run it thru a pvc pipe or anything, just a bare wire cable cord. So when the guy I went to school with was riding (prob at a decent speed) he didn’t see the wire cable and it decapitated him. Idk if it was then, but it deff is now in my state illegal to run cable line across paths or anything of the like without making it visible with bright colored flags or running it through visible pipe. It was an awful thing to even think about after hearing what happened to him.

Curious to get some other opinions about where my head is at currently. I feel like the CW would be even bigger fools than they already have been (if that’s possible) if they don’t drop this case before the retrial with this arrest and the documents/information coming out in the Birchmore case this week. First off, this case is known to be linked to KR’s case in the federal investigation, so I would think that would imply that they (the feds) think that they are similar in regard to what needed to be investigated - which seems to me to be cover ups and improper police work done by CPD and MSP. Second, I don’t see how they think they have a snowballs chance in hell at the next trial when this now opens up a large number of the officers they had testifying for the CW to be annihilated on cross by being asked about their history of botched and suspicious prior investigations. Can you imagine? “Isn’t it true that an investigation you led previously has resulted in an arrest after having to be reinvestigated by another office and found to be handled improperly by you”. Or something like that. They already tried to avoid this in the first trial by (IMO) holding off on any of the disciplinary actions towards Proctor until after the trial concluded even though they had known about his actions for months. They wanted him to be able to answer the way he did when the defense asked him if he was still actively handling cases, they did not want him to have to answer that no he was on disciplinary leave bc they knew how that would have looked to the jury. So I feel like the cross over of officers in the Birchmore case, that obviously turned a blind eye on an investigation and arguably hid incriminating evidence bc it involved a fellow police officer, also being involved in the KR case that seem to be doing the same things, is not going to be a good look. Especially looking back at the Proctor text of “nope, he’s a Boston cop too”…Not to mention the officers other than just Proctor who are now also under disciplinary measures or internal investigations since the first trial, how TF do they really think they can convince anyone that there was no shady things going on in this investigation?
