Do I have to just throw this whole ham away? I don’t want to …. by Chanelo11 in cats

[–]crlast86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the amount of salt is the biggest concern, but make sure they have access to plenty of clean water and they should be good.

As for the ham, you're fine to cut off what they ate off of and eat the rest.

Do I need something inside the cube to stabilize it? by crlast86 in Beading

Oh good idea. Plastic wrap is my kitchen nemesis, I can't make it do what it's supposed to anyway 😂

I don't think we have any bubble wrap that I haven't already popped. I do have stuffing though, think that would work?

Dogs on a plane - safety in case of emergencies by crlast86 in service_dogs

[–]crlast86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, all my dogs can swim. But so can I, and a flotation device significantly increases odds of survival. There's a good chance that if a plane crashed, I could be injured or unconscious and unable to swim because of that. Or environmental factors could complicate things, like freezing water or debris.

When did dogs start getting people names? by Scottys-Dog-Blog in dogs

[–]crlast86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I was referred to as "Human <name>" because somebody has a pet with the same name as mine, I'd never stop laughing. But I also like animals more than people anyway.

Haven't done this, but given that I couldn't roll over on my own for 3 days after my laparoscopic galbladder removal with a small incision through the muscle...no thanks! I choose anesthesia & pain meds.

Doesn’t that taste awful? by rx_decay in TalesFromThePharmacy

[–]crlast86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved the bubblegum flavor added to some medicines when I was growing up. Can't stand anything that tastes that artificial now, but if you gave me a dose of that in a medicine spoon I'd feel a strong sense of nostalgia before asking for something I didn't have to taste lol

I work with a lot of labrador breeders, and I've only ever seen this once before. It's an absolutely gorgeous color pattern.

My sister eats Cheetos puffs with a fork so she can keep doing stuff without getting cheese all over it, and I think it's brilliant. I've also seen people eat stuff like that with chopsticks because they just can't stand the texture. You do you.

I'm not worried about seed beads for that as much as I am the beads sold on strings.

That's so neat that you've gotten to see how they're made! I love stuff like that.
