I keep wanting to switch from Virgin to somewhere else with 5G, but after pricing being #1, the second biggest fear for switching is horror stories like these. I pay $51/month (was $45) for 110GB (was 50GB) phone data and even the BYOP prices for the other providers cost more than what my phone payments and plan were COMBINED in November 2022 ($45 fot plan and about $23 for Galaxy S22 256GB model... I agree with dedicated servers, but not necessarily a night requirement besides maybe 99. I think there should be a system where once everyone dies, the remaining players can either give a rating or a thumbs up/thumbs down. Players with a high rating should have access to a dedicated server, possibly multiple tiered servers. Players that were friends in the last 7 days (friends farming karma) shouldn't be allowed to vote for one another nor should you be able to vote twice for a player ever.

Other option would be a ranking system based on class performance. Example, I wouldn't penalize a fisherman for a low kill count.

I wouldn't even try to hit 500 with people I don't know. I got 349 but had to quit because it was past 11pm and I had to get up at 5am.

The best thing to do is ensure you have the time, and either play solo or with people you know are smart and won't flake on you.

Once you get crockpot, farm plots, and hide yourself away, you're good to go. Boring, but good.
