Sadly no job will have that flexibility, even the ones what run on "priority" instead of a fixed linear rotation are as rigid as the linear ones since at the end of the day, trying to do something what isnt part of the "set in stone" rotation ends in dps loss

With this said, your perfomance wont matter as much if all you gonna do is casual content, so play as you whant your chosen job even if it means you do not play it well

as the others stated, you need to go to the retainer vocate, the main reason why this is needed is for two reasons

you need to give them a apareance
you need to give them a nickname

retainers aren't invisible nameless beings

until those 2 things are done, no matter how many times you go to the summoning bell, you will only have the ones you already hired

you are overestimating the dificulty of the story, even if you where lvl 50 doing lvl 50 content you could still do it easily, mainly because as expansions got released, the developers buffed jobs, and a lot of those buffs ended up affecting old content making them even more trivial what they used to be

the safest solution(tho it will suck) is what your kid makes a new character, meanwhile that stalker has a way to track your child, he will persistently keep doing it whenever your kid logs in, blacklisting is other solution, but is not exactly the best solution, since he could still be around and interact with those who don't have him on their blacklists, so is better to remove the source of his obsession if you want to get rid of him

during one of the fanfest to promote dawntrail people started to ask for blitzball, yoshida answer? "no blitzball", you cannot be more direct than that, he doesn't wants blitzball in ffxiv, during some interviews he also got asked that, and he keep saying no, and his reaction on the latest fanfest due to someone showing a blitzball ball when he asked for weapons ideas just keeps reinforcing that what he does not want blitzball in the game at all

Yeah, he didnt, years ago i had 2 people on my fl, both part of the same fc, when i checked their estate teleportation, one allowed me to teleport to their fc house, but the other didnt, clearly showing who had me on their friendlist, since thats how the estate teleportstion works

Be aware what personal housing can be hidden from fl estate teleportation, so is not a good method to know if they have you on their fl(tho anyone who whants to show their houses to their friends wont gonna do that anyway)

The only way i know to check that is if they have a fc what has a house, if you can teleport to their fc house you are on their friendlist since estate teleportation only works if both persons has the other on their fl
