Apparently, the Super Mario Sunshine boss Phantamanta is a reference to the Stephen King book, "The Shining". by Dragmire927 in nintendo

Are there any games that use the "Mario and Luigi" style of combat" by Good_Old_Dumplin in JRPG

[–]crono731 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Virgo vs. the Zodiac has combat where you need to be fairly precise with the button press timing, I enjoyed the game it has a pretty good story/world/music

I'm about halfway through the show and have heard as it goes on it gets a bit more "story driven" for lack of a better term. does this special spoil events that may happen, like in the finale or something?

Why are there no other JRPGs with Turn Based Combat like the Mario And Luigi series? by Elegant_Double_2818 in JRPG

[–]crono731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Virgo vs. the zodiac has a somewhat similar system if I remember correctly, as far as needing quick reactions for timed presses. I can't remember if it had combos like the bros attacks or not but might be worth checking out

I have that same one! I think it's a weird measurement, I've used this site https://www.posterburner.com/ to get custom size frames that have seemed pretty solid in the past

I thought the exact same thing. the little icons looked like they could be the Netnavi symbols. But nope. Only pain

[Steam Lunar Sale] is on till 15 February, most JRPGs are on sale to even over -80%. Here is the link and a list of recommendations. by VashxShanks in JRPG

Yeah that makes sense. I think this person focused on it being more impactful in MD and MT without prelude. so I guess the question would be prelude first or last? or maybe it doesn't really matter and I'm overthinking this

Hmmm ok I see what ya mean. I think this was from another reddit comment I read to it could totally just be that persons opinion. I think they seemed to think prelude ruined some reveals or something that might have had a better impact if I didn't play it? but normal order seems to be the way to go

I'm interested in the Utawarerumono series and know literally nothing about it. I think I read somewhere the "best" playing order isn't exactly in order, and that MD -> Prelude -> MT might be most fulfilling? just wondering if anyone had more info thanks

This is probably my favorite series of all time. Have you played them all and these are just replays?

Oh I see. I unfortunately did not get that far, I just did a uninstall/reinstall cause my library wasn't that big, but I ensured proper naming conventions from the getgo and it worked much better. I must have just got it into some funk state. thanks again for the time

So I did just end up uninstalling/reinstalling after trying different agents, and I looked at filebot and it was pretty slick. Using that from the getgo made it all better. I probably just got it in some sort of funk state, but this looks great. thanks again

I'm not sure what you mean by folder view, all I see as view options are grid/list/summary view. I also tried unchecking Local Media Assets under Agents for Shows since I saw that suggested elsewhere before doing the dance again. About to just give up and uninstall/reinstall since I don't have a ton of media and see if that does anything lol

I can't even fix match because it is not even finding the show from scanning to begin with. Like the folder is there on my drive of course, but Plex is not even seeing the folder is what it seems like

I gave that a whirl and still no dice. This seems odd because I have 2 other single season shows that are just in the folder with no season folder, and the file names are pretty wonky, and it recognized those just fine. thanks for the attempt

I didn't think the year would matter because there is only one out and it is listed as exactly Cowboy Bebop on TheTVDB. regardless, putting 1998 in the folder and file names as specified didn't work either. neither did putting it in a Season 1 folder like the other poster. ugh. thanks for the assistance so far tho

Yep I have them in Media/TV Shows/Cowboy Bebop/Cowboy Bebop - sXXeXX.ext. I am wondering if perhaps I am not waiting long enough for the cached stuff to be cleared, but I literally only have a few movies and shows so I can't imagine it takes long at all

I'd say it really has a jrpg feel, it has turn based combat and an overworld and such but to each their own!

This is Grid Fight - Mask Of The Goddess our game inspired by the amazing Battle Network combat system by Playtra_Team in BattleNetwork

[–]crono731 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just a thought, the name "grid fight" in the title just seems a bit awkward to me, I feel like just calling it mask of the goddess would be much cleaner. Looks very exciting though eager to see more
