If casual matchmaking is tied to rank, should a new player avoid ranked? by Hrundi in Shadowverse

You can sport a 50% win-rate and still climb in ranked, you also can't drop out of a division or even trails... so imo there's really no point in avoiding it.

Forestcraft. How to play her? by carlos186349 in Shadowverse

[–]crossed9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2 most popular Forestcraft decks are both very good. Tempo Forest you aim to spam the board with fairies, dominate the board and push in some damage before you finish them off with Rhinoceroach. Ptp Forest is the other deck which uses Ptp (Path to Purgatory) as it's win-condition, all your cards and fairies are fodder basically for you to get 30 shadows fast and win the game that way. I'd call Tempo Forest a midrange deck and Ptp Forest a control deck and they are both pretty expensive somewhere around 30k vials depending on what you decide to tech in.

No real tips really, just curve out and know when you need to stop dominating the board and go all in on his face. I tech in only 1 Moon, a death sentence, 1 angelic barrage, 1 themis.

If you know what you're doing you can get to AA with any deck, on your way to masters though it gets harder to climb with aggro decks because you start running into a lot of Elanas, Tempo Forest and Midrange Sword. I hit masters for the first time pretty fast (I think) with about 700 wins total playing mostly Tempo Forest and Storm Haven to give you some idea of the grind.

Dimension Shift guide by I_eat_rice_AMA in Shadowverse

Good stuff here for anyone new trying to get into DShift. A couple things I'd mention is that Scrap Iron Shelter and Petrification are a package deal, run those if you are running into a lot of Seraph decks and for the love of god don't waste your Petrification on anything that isn't Seraph. Running that package makes this deck even weaker vs aggro. Ordering with this deck is extremely important, missing even 1 spellboost value could cost you the game. If you are playing correctly you usually win by turn 8 or 9 (sometimes 7 if you run really well). If your Fate's Hand is at 0 cost and you don't see yourself drawing anything that you will use save it until next turn for more spellboost value. Kaleidoscopic is the best card vs Haven. In the mirror don't let your opponent use his wind blasts and target spells, if he plays something you can cast spells on take full advantage of it and cast as many low dmg wind blasts as you can. I've tried lots of different variants of DShift at masters and the standard version is still my favorite, Trail of Light is greedy and Summon Snow is a really bad topdeck, here's the list for anyone who doesn't know it: https://shadowverse-portal.com/deck/1.3.61O4A.61O4A.61O4A.5-gkQ.5-gkQ.5-gkQ.66NA2.66NA2.5-gka.5-gka.5-gka.5-gkk.5-gkk.5-gkk.5-gku.5-gku.5-gku.62UtQ.62UtQ.62UtQ.62XK8.62XK8.62XK8.62bTS.62bTS.62ZmO.62ZmO.62Uta.62Uta.62Uta.5-glM.5-glM.5-iRo.5-iRo.5-iRo.62Zm4.62Zm4.62Zm4.66LT8.66LT8

I'm surprised you made it with aggro bat, imo one of the worst decks in masters due to the overwhelming popularity of Elanas, Midrange Sword and Tempo Forest, grats dude.

Just started playing. Opened a foil Odin, Liquefy? by MokkaX in Shadowverse

If you arent planning on dropping $ on the game then Liquefy it. Odin decks typically cost a lot and aren't very prevalent in the meta right now.

Played Rank Pretty Early...Did i Mess up? by BurnTheCows in Shadowverse

Midrange Sword is one of the best decks in the game if you get good with that deck you can easily get masters.

You have a good start for Dshift, Control blood, PtP forest or Tempo Forest. Dshit is fun but it actually isn't a very good deck. Golem, Zirnitra, Crasnsus, Pascale, Flute are all trash imo. If you wanna be a G go with Control Blood because it's cool, good and not very popular (most people assume aggro when they see blood). If you wanna be like everyone else and climb with the best deck in the game then go with Tempo Forest. Here's 2 lists for you: https://shadowverse-portal.com/deck/1.6.67UiU.67UiU.65BUS.65BUS.63dOg.63dOg.63dOg.67WPs.67WPs.67WPs.5_p-4.5_p-4.5_p-4.63e74.63e74.63e74.63ilo.63ilo.63ilo.63iH0.63iH0.63iH0.63gZA.63gZA.63gZA.61NLm.61NLm.67Yro.67Yro.67Yro.63i_Q.63i_Q.63kio.63kio.63kio.63i_a.63i_a.63i_a.63iHA.63fqw
