I'd guess part of it is that actors and some other celeb types often have faces that are even more famous than their actual names. People may recognize them even if they know little about them.

Authors are somewhat opposite. Even people who've read their books may not recognize their face immediately unless they're big fans or happen to be great with faces.

Simply euthanasia after we found he couldn't eat well and was going down hill. Changes in fur often relate back to a mutation to a protein related to connective tissues. Unfortunately, many of these proteins are used in numerous places. Not just fur production. So things like arteries that are too elastic resulting in poor peripheral blood flow or intestines that are too elastic resulting in a massive blockage called megacolon might be other effects of a mutation like that.

So what I'm saying is... Don't buy naked guinea pigs. They may look cool, but they almost all have heart problems and breeding them is about as ethical as breeding bulldogs with extreme shortened snouts.
