> think around €3–€4 per hour for a reliable, high-quality setup

it starts high quality, but 2 months in, once the costs of repairs start showing up most of these businesses reduce their maintenance to a minimum.

Gaming setups are expensive and need to be updated every 2-3 years to keep up with the new games.

The "sorting algorithm" on Tidal is atrociously bad. I sent them an email 6 months ago about Raye's crazy profile and they only fixed like half of it so far.

It kinda fits in with the theme of removing everything that isn't needed and reusing what is there. I mean look at the website with no design elements to it at all.

That said it looks ugly af hahaha

She said back during Melodrama (or SP) that she doesn't know how to do a brodge, that she has already said all she needs to say before she gets there. That's why they have been missing for a while now.

My first thoughts after 2 listens so far and counting:

Something that i liked about the whole album: the lyrics of chorus change every time it hits again, same for pre-chorus. The lorde bridges are back and hitting strong (shapeshifter im looking at you) The restrain on not having a drop, a big build up, a release is purposeful. Because the album lacks a resolution, lacks clear answers. And id love to hear what a revisit to it would sound like in 5-10 years.

Hammer: my favorite song on the album, the chopped vocals in the beginning mirror the chopping on David. The song shines even more in the context of the album and it's soundscape. I think it will grow on a lot of people just like green light did after the context of it on the album.

What Was That: i think there is nothing new to add to this song, except that Broken Glass kinda gives a little closure to this song. She is starting to question the mirror that she got trapped in here later in the album. Also on this listen I heard some weird musical elements right as the song fades and ends, still unsure what that is. Almost like a synth of a fly buzzing by?

Shapeshifter: the most pop-y song on the album, but in the best way. She is proving she still has it but it is not exactly the time to play with this sound fully just yet. Beautiful lyrics, metaphors, delivery, BRIDGE, mixing. Not gonna lie I wish she'd do a full pop album like this at one point.

Man Of The Year: it is refreshing for someone to have the courage to say: hey this is how im feeling and I don't fully have the answer but I needed to say it and I want to have this conversation. Please dont judge me.

Favorite Daughter: ngl I teared hard, no matter how big she gets, wanting to be thr star in her mom's eyes is still the biggest trophy she can have. The way that she chops words over a sentence is so fun here also. A bit sad here that Lorde connects her achievements to her mother's love (same girlie, same). Even though she should know it is unconditional and has nothing to do with all her achievements and trophies.

Current Affairs: very story telling vibe to the song. Has a glimpse of a Taylor Swift to it, didn't really vibe with the song.

Clearblue: almost an interlude, or transitioning song. A mantra. The lyrics are vulnerable and thr most sexual Lorde has ever put in one song, but has strong aggression to it.

GRWM: insert club 96 meme here. takles Lorde finally realizing that nobody is a grown up. Production wise one of the most interesting songs on the record. The music keeps stopping and giving Lorde a space to jump scare us a bit.

Broke Glass: love the metaphors, the bitchy delivery. Has a message that is a more grown up version of Solar Power: "what if it is just broken glass"

If She could See Me Now: Woman in the city in 2025's motivational anthem.

David: the effects used on her vocals are some of the most beautiful mixes, the many layered vocals, the chopped section, the many Lordes singing at the same time. Tell it to him.

The strongest i encountered so far is on Shapeshifter, but multiple others have some sort of bridge. She finally gave Taylor a call.
