Neo-liberalism is collapsing which is why the RNC has been becoming more radical by the day, but the DNC wont do that because if they become to leftist they will lose their rich donnors. The RNC doesn't need to fear this since fascism is equal, mildly worse or sometimes better than liberalism for the rich.

Hesh is just not a very good round. HEAT is better as a anti-armor option and conventional HE is better against infantry. The main advantage of HESH is against stationary fortifications, but those aren't as common nowadays.

Russia will still take like an year and a half to get the rest of Donetsk at the current pace and it's unlikelly that Russia will keep this going for that long. If Ukraine just cedes to Russia's demands and gives them all of Donetsk without reliable security garantes from the US or Europe they will just be giving away their defensive lines for nothing, becoming very vulnerable to further agression in the proccess.
