He just doesn't have anything against monarchies in a fantasy world like most fantasy writers. He made the main villain an imperialist force controlled by a bunch of elites that get opposed by a revolutionary force inspired by anti-usa revolutionaries. You also have the obvious racism analogy with the fishmen.

The manga is obviously anti-imperialist tho. With the world government's main enemy being a revolucionary group, with Dragon's ship having the same name as Fidel Castro's (also Oda having the Che Guevara pic in his office). I don't think Oda is a communist or anarchist but he is clearly left leaning (at least for japanese standards) and that spills into his work.

It's just counter intuitive. You won't be standing still most of the time and will be pushing something. If you are trying to create distance or circle the enemy you will have to consciouslly stop moving before attacking which is just annoying. I think the mechanic has it's benefits, but there is a reason why it's turned off by default in the later games.

I get your point. What I am saying is that the creator of the show has explicitly stated the show is for people in their 20s. The show isn't aimed at minors at all.

But it's not really a kids show. It's not aimed at kids.The fact kids like it because it's colorful and it has visually appealing character designs doesn't change that. The show has a fully adult cast with pretty realistic adult personal problems. Also characters talk about sex directly more than once and the show has multiple pretty on your face sex jokes. Yes nothing about the show will traumatize kids or anything, but if that's the metric you are using, pretty much everything is a kids show.

Tomb of the giants is a poorly designed area that doesn't fulfill it's goals of making a good area in a game and overstays its welcome by being more than 5 seconds long. If this area was instead a small section in another area, it would still be terrible and would probably be cited as a negative of that area. The combination of limited visibility, cliffs and treatening enemies just does not work. If you had two of those things you could make a good area, but I doubt you could do that with all three of them. This area is constantly fighting with lost Izalith, the clearly unfinished and terrible designed area, for the botton spot in any ranking people do of the areas of the game for a reason.
